lol von small, whenever i see you from my canopy, you are on foot and size of an ant.
Seriously I wish to see more decent flyers out there  ;)

Zeimer's tactical doctrine =>
1. Stay high, dive deep, fly sideways or upside -down - for better view and unpredictability.
2. Strafe enemy stationary arty whenever possible.
3. when escaping, make jerky, unpredictable manoeuvres, that 7/10 lets you escape the pursuit, 2/10 lands you on a tree, 1/10 kills you, because your pursuit is just as drunk

A tip: don't sit in artillery when I am flying for opposing team.
LOL, why not? That would mean artillery is denied the entire round just because you're on the opposing team  ;D

As you might have noticed, I took my chances even after you killed me a few times, because the shells landed on enemy areas inbetween the times you were flying by, were helpful enough for my team ;)

I find flying in FH2 extremely difficult.

That's because I either:
1. Spawn too far away from the planes (I don't usually plane camp when a couple people are doing so).
2. Take forever to load the map and see all planes already fighting as I first spawn in.
3. Feel like something else.
4. What planes?

The actual flying is fine. Though I would appreciate them going a tad faster, I'm glad an enemy is not invulnerable in a turn.

As for point 2, is it just me, or does hslan have a very quick time to roundstart?

My opinion on plane balance seems to be that the German planes are somewhat better. The only real thing the Allies have going for them is rocket ordinance, and the Beaufighter when compared to the Stuka; it can easily strafe all but the Pz3 from medium tanks down.

also, having a joystick helps, otherwise massive amounts of table space is required. Played with mouse on BF1942/FH1 - possible but just killing your arm.

Absolutely agreed. I can't count the times I swore because I was running out desk space and the the mouse helplessy fall of the desk and so does my plane.

I always hate Otto Zeimer when he's flying, actually when he's on the opposite team doing whatever. Because he's too good for me  ;D

So, when he is flying a fighter, I take a Tank. When he is flying a bomber, I do infantry, when he is doing infantry, I do artillery/observer. Generally, a rule of thumb is not to go against Zeimer  8)

That whole clan gives me the creeps, something suspicious there if you ask me, not random that all DLF have cat reflexes and know how to curl tank shells into a kill with just one shot.  I know, don't band about slander without proof, I'm happy to accept they are all demi-l33t, for now.

It's just boring because the planes don't go fast
Also, it's boring that the cockpit doesn't move anymore like in previous versions. It feels like bf1942 all over again

That 1/10 is for me almost 5/10... the worst thing: if I try to escape I often dont see the real horizon and flying head-over... a horizon indicator would be good ;)

Freaky Scandinavians

I think because the liquor is way more expensive there, they play the game less drunk. That's gotta be it
