I bought a cockatiel yesterday :).
So, you already teaching him most common obscenities in Finnish so he can break the ice when you have guests? ;D
For straters I'd be happy if it learned to not fear its own food cups  ::). First few days have been really slow progress in exploring the cage. It found one good branch to sit on and didn't really move from it yeasterday, unless it was climbing on net of the cage. Maybe after week it actually feels the cage is actualy new home  :). Atleast it doesn't fear me. And cockatiels are not really talented speakers, though they could learn a few words. Slow but steady...

Hope the little fella can overcome its fears soon. :)

---

Meanwhile, in Belgium: Marc Dutroux, after a particularly long sentence of eight whole years, is petitioning to be released into house arrest instead of jail (I kinda lost the "suspension of disbelief" at the part where he is already allowed to make such a request in the first place), but the kicker of the news is that his wife, accomplice to his little hobby, is already out on parole. Yeah, sure you can apply for anything, but considering the latter part of the news, I wouldn't really be surprised if the request is granted, too. What with his powerful friends (who were never properly convicted) covering up for him and messing up the investigation in the first place, allowing him to continue his spree for years.

What is it with my IRL and internet friends with Volvo enthusiasm, geez?

I can understand it thoug, they're very safe and the modern ones are very economical.
I'd rather play Kimble with my ass!

Nice. I would have gone for the proper Volvo 5 cylinder engine (T5 and shit :D), but i guess not everyone is retarded  :P.
I don't like new Volvo's (or new cars in general), but they're still pretty good cars (nothing like the old ones, though)

Even I like Volvo and I'm a die hard Audi fanboy.

there were 2 main factors leading to this car
1) I had a volvo for 5 years and was very happy with it
2) price was awesome. Its only 2,5 years old and all other cars with same specs. were around 5000€ more expensive (audis, bmws)

When NTH wanted to choose between BMW or Audi, everyone was like "Oh BMWs are bad guys car! Choose Audi." Including me.

But everywhere now, including here, Audis are driven by cocks. The Russian mob drives glamorous Audi (Q5, A6, and above). Then, the noob hipster cocks choose Audi because it is not as mainstream as the Merc or the Bimmer.

I'm fine with being a cock. My car looks nice, is sturdy, has a nice engine and is reliable. Just as the one before it. I like the brand, I'm sticking with it.

There's cocks in all cars, Zoo.

True, nice cars are nice. My cousin drives an A4, and he is an okay guy.

But there is certainly a car so stupid, that it can only exist in lesser developed world. That's why you guys have safety standards and consumer protection law to fend off these stupid cars.
