Huge Team-Up
« on: 30-04-2009, 01:04:15 »
I've been thinking a lot about this...
Maybe FH2 and Experience WWII should team up.
I mean, FH2 has the huge user base, but Experience has a lot to offer.
Go right now and look at what they've got.
I've been playing it on 1942 for a while, and they have great, revolutionary graphics and maps. Go download it and try it out.
I've been thinking that if the two mods fused together-FH with the large user base and models and Experience with the (multitude) of maps and great graphice- maybe we could creat the best WWII modification. Just think about it.

XWW2 has barely anything FH2 doesn't have. And no offense, but it is no where near FH2 quality standards.

XWW2 has never, ever, had the graphical quality of FH2.  No matter how much I love the realism in it, the graphics are shitty when compared with FH2.  They will never team up.

Respectfully speaking, from experience (ex-XWW2 devo), I will fully support this statement.

Additionally they only have a small hand full of Devs.

This would not work, ever.

Oh, and development for FH1 has long since been ended. God, where have you been kid?  ::)

And how would that team up with FH2.  Remember, FH1 has been abandoned by the devs.  They do not work on it anymore.  And no, XWW2's graphics still were nothing compared to FH1.

Finally...someone agrees with me. And yea, listen to Mudra. He knows what he speaks of.

I have to say, the crete map that recently surfaced looked not bad at all. Other than that: different leagues.

So what are you asking for, if its obviously been noted and proved that the graphics are sub par, and the FH dev team has no want to go back to FH1 and do something THAT major, the XWW2 team is busy with THEIR XWW2 2.0, and its a clear statement that they would never join teams.  The thread's entire purpose, asking for them to merge XWW2 and FH1 is moot.

Erm well the devs are DONE with FH1... have been for about 3 years now. Didn't you get the memo?

And have others have already said, FH1 pretty much exceeds the content and quality level of XWW2 in so many ways that I think it would be detrimental to FH1 even if there was some way to magically go back in time.

The Warrior is everything that FH n00bs have been saying for the last 5 years, rolled into one complete (and a little late) package. It's great.

Ditto.
XWW2 mostly lacks the quality but Crete looked way better then FH2's creation. And yes I believe FH2 and XWW2 both have different goals.
