Yeah guys for anyone who thinks that the commitment is a problem it's really not. Its usually squad wars, practice, and then a battle every week.

All you have to do is let people know if you can make it and you're fine. But don't expect to climb the ranks if you don't show up.

Quick Question: Why is there a [+2 Global] in the kill message?

You can edit your localization files to show stuff like that, e.g. points for kills or capturing flags.

[F|H]Herc is now a official Dev mate :) Toddel is on our forums on a daily bases to give directions and help the team, he knows all the things we have and that it is for the use of FH2 mod as they wish, so do not worry, if it it meets the quality asked by the official mod you will see it back, if not then you know it was not good enough anyway. :)

That's good to hear :D might join up this summer if I won't have to work on friday nights anymore

I say we enlist some of those FHT dev's in the FH 2 team  :o

I hope they insert this campaign in the next release Dutch  :D

We want to, for sure.. but it's a whole different deal to make something for 64 well trained, coordinated friends who are playing a map once.. than to make one for (potentially) thousands of players that will play it for years.. It is a quite huge step...(not just graphically, but gameplay must also be overlooked, tweaked, tested) But we are all very impressed by the FHT Italian Campaign so far (and for me as an FHT mapper/player, it makes me extra proud!)  ;D

as natty said, the target audience is different. Of course FHT shares everything they do, but not everything is useful because they have different objectives. For example, a tournament will focus their maps on strategical gameplay and this means a different way to place flags, statics or map conditions/triggers.

I say always that clans and tournaments (or better said, organized campaigns managed by communities of players) makes FH2 better. Just because something is going on. It's like a party, people alone are not enough, you need also to add music, drinks and a cool place for example. For a good mod, players communities, organized campaigns, clan ladders, full public servers, events, etc are necessary, all of them.  :)
