Hello :)

From 3 or even more month i playing forgoten hope 2 i even bougth bf2 special to just play it :)
And today because my ping got bad day :P probobly i need buy him chocolate and start up 3D's Max and then

brilliant idea
meby i gona do some static model for my lovled mod !!!


because im lezy men i gona ask you for plugin to 3D's Max (10) to i could export after i end it to bf2
and could you give me some tutorials about exporting it etc.

about some scale/size how big 1cm or 1meter on 3D's Max is on game

AFAIK Max 10 is not supported by BF2....best Max version for editing is 7

1 unit in max is 1 cm in bf2.

1 cm² ingame surface = 1 Pxl Texture size

if you want to make a 256cm high wall with a width of 256cm you need a Texture with the size 256x256 pxl

and its unbelievable there is no plugin to MAX to support BF2

3dsmax 7 is best for BF1942, 3dsmax 9 is best for BF2. Can't remember if 3dsmax 7 has dds file support. Even if it does... 3dsmax 9 has more features than 7.

The BF2 plugin works for 3dsmax 7, 8 & 9. Not earlier or newer versions.



You can edit the scene measurements to be meters and 1m = 0.1m, then it'll be on a 1:1 scale.
It's half naked people on boats. That's all.
Here in Finland we call that "summer".

100cm in max is 39,37 units

and 1m in max is 1m in game?


so could some one say me real how meny metters cm or units in max is in bf2.....

1 unit in max is 1 cm in bf2.

1m is 100 cm. since ever. 10 dcm. 1000mm

you can customize your Max settings. set it to cm and metric. unitsetup 1 unit= 1 cm
