I own an original copy of BF2 but I cannot install it because the CD key validation is gone. How can I install BF2? I saw this thing "Revive BF2" but I don't understand how it works. I still can't install BF2 in order to play FH2.

I just opened the mod and it says 2.45 is coming soon. Is there an approximate release date?

Unless of course a wonderful human being who has no desire to ever play 1942... I'll gladly accept your cd key. I live in the middle of no where, so I need to find an online version I can purchase.

Is there any sizable community still playing 1942 or the WWII mod for Vietnam? I want to buy 1942 thru a download service. I have vietnam, but I don't know where I put it. I really don't want to buy 1942 in store or off Amazon. I'm inpatient. is Forgotten hope 1 still played? I desperately want to play on Wake Island, but the Pacific front is not in FH2 and probably won't be for a very long time.

Off-Topic / Re: Blitzkrieg "mitigated" German defeats?

thanks for the comment. But I think the author is speaking in general terms, not about specific battles. I believe he thinks that "blitzkrieg" tactics, inflicted horrid losses on the Russians while they were retreating. I think it is wrong too.

In Michael Reynold's "Steel Inferno", a history of the 1st and 12th Panzer corps in Normandy made a statement like this. "German defeats on the eastern front had been mitigated by using these tactics". He is referring to blitzkrieg. I am not sure whether I misunderstand or not. But this statement seems wrong. As far as I can tell, most divisions incorporated, by sections, different infantry battalions based on purpose, along with a dedicated armor units. I don't mean to start a "Blitzkrieg Myth" debate (see the author John Mosier). I just would like some comments on what this means, and how true it is.

Singleplayer and Coop / Re: Coop Account?
« on: 21-11-2011, 21:11:38 »
Oh I thought it was something different. I mostly play online i thought there was some extra account.

Alright I'll try that. Normally I just fire single shots. Does this apply to all submachine guns?

Theta I think your formula for victory is wrong. No offense, but I have tried that and it doesn't seem to work for me.
then you use it wrong. When i fire the greasegun, i automaticly aim down with my mouse. works well

Admitted, the Greasegun has much more recoil then it has IRL though

Do you aim below the target before the first shot?

Singleplayer and Coop / can't become squad leader

In coop It won't let me become squad leader after clicking page up. I joined a coop server. Nothing works.

I'd love to see them all added! But I think I would be most interested in some battles involving Poland and France in 1939-1940. Anything in the Pacific would be my second choice. One of the reasons i love FH2 so much is that it incorperates factions which are normally not given much attention, (Italy, Canada). I would love to see British India vs Japan.

DOH! FH2 is the greatest ww2 fps ever to be made. Its too bad the engine doesn't allow it. Perhaps an alternative would be to designate certain spots (modifying the map) that have a great field of fire. Maybe remove a section of a sandbag pit? Just some thoughts.

Off-Topic / Re: Films involving Poland in WWII

Uprising is a really good movie. I have seen it though. Red Army Poles are good too, but I prefer non-Soviet aligned Polish fighters, both guerilla and conventional. Its really hard to tell the difference between Red Army guys and Red Army Polish guys since they were armed with Soviet equipment. Plus I don't speak a word of Polish or Russian.
