Same as the 2.4 and 2.35 version. The bolt action rifle is the most used weapon on the battlefield. Choose your 2 favorites! Choose one of the axis side, and one of the allied side!
Also what bolt action rifles do you want to see in the future? pick one axis and one allies and leave it in a post.

My 2 picks are=
M1917 Enfield for allies
Carcano M91 for axis
As for future rifles. I would love to see the VZ 24/G24'T' for axis and the M1903A3 Springfield for allies

I chose the SMLE and Carcano 91. I'd like to see Carcano mod.91 moschetto di cavalleria carabine (as I stated many times before) and MAS 36 8)

M1917 because it is like a scopeless sniper and sounds awesome and No.4 because it has a high fire rate combined with a big magazine and acceptable accuracy. Worst one is K98 for sure :P
EDIT: I failed at reading -.- If someone forced me to take an axis one, I would take the Carcano M91 even if it does not kill most of the times. I just don't like the Mauser, you have to play it too much and then it is not even good. The one with the Z41 is ok.

Lee Enfield SMLE No.1 is clearly my favorite. The Enfield 1917 is still damn good but I don't use it that often. The Springfield 1903 was kinda changed compared to 2.4 and I can't hit shit with it anymore over long range. K98 is also good but has too few ammunition.

01 - Lee Enfield SMLE: Best sights, useful 10-rounds, wish there were a few pick-up kits of it in Normandy.
02 - M1917: Good sights, I just always seem to hit with it. Hard to find sometimes, though.
03 - K98: Great sights, much easier to hit with a hood than without I've found, though.
04 - No4: Handy rifle I reckon needs a lot more practice than I've given it. Mental accuracy, mind.
05 - Carcano: couldn't hit a barn door with it.
06 - Carcano Carbine: Never seem to genuinely miss with it, more like I need to aim perfectly at the same stationary enemy 4 times until I hit.
07 - Springfield: I can't hit a single thing with it. Must not understand the sights or the drop.
As for rifles I want to see I have no idea, I just want more variety. A less-common alternative to the current rifles on all maps, maybe more obsolete rifles being phased out during the war.

Enfield No 4 because I almost always hit with it. For axis I chose K98, but that is because I have to choose an axis rifle. I'd rather have chosen a different allied one.

Impossible, we didn't have FH 2.45 half a year ago.
1.Axis: Carcano - Best sights, best looks, best army
2.Allied: M1903 - idk, i just like it.
Future rifles
Allied - Something French (Since we've already seen the Mosin)
Axis - Something awesome captured by Germans.

But what was changed after 2.4 with these rifles? Nothing.... Was there any new rifle maybe? No... So what is the purpose of this threat? Maybe you you will also open a pointless threats like "what is your best pistol' or "what is your best smg"? ::)

People there preferences change after each version
enfield and mauser still remain the most popular. The enfield because it was simply the best bolt action rifle WW1 and WW2 and any war before or after saw.
The K98k is popular because well......its german. ;D
Yet the M1917 enfield and carcano still remain popular choises of people. I can understand why. Well the M1917 is just a fine, rugged and super accurate battle rifle. It is was called the "bastard" often because it is not a full mauser, yet not a full enfield. All the american sights of the thompson, M1 and such where based on the P14/M1917 sights.
And the Carcano...well its italian ;D and for some reason i can hit things with it on even the longest ranges

But the sights havent changed, so I don't know why people should have change their opinion... Overall I don't have my favourite, maybe I don't like this Mauser early version, because of sights, but on the battlefied it doesnt mean anything - I will use it anyway, because I have no other choice...

People can and do change their opinions rather frequently. And you do have a choice, you can pick up a fallen enemy's kit with his rifle which might be more of your preference and stick with it.

The K98k is popular because well......its german. ;D
It is also 1 of 3 instead of 1 of 5 choices ;)

Carcano M91 is still the best axis rifle, and has been since 2.15. It's actually the best rifle in the mod as far as I'm concerned, and is by far the one I can hit most accurately with. The M38 just has something 'wrong' with it in comparison, and I find the K98 (and other rifles that look like it) to be 'meh'.
As for allied rifles, I have a harder time choosing. I think they are much closer together in how effective I am with them (though the Springfield is by far the worst). I guess if pressed I'd say the No.4 was my favourite.
As for new rifles, well, I'm not at liberty to say. I have my desires though...
BTW, you should split the K98 into hooded and not hooded options. I know I find the non hooded one has the better ironsights.

The M1917 is also a marvelous little rifle next to the 1903, love all three more than any other guns in the game.

The big change I noticed is with the weapon sway at standing and crouching. Big change on medium to far targets.

okay i would like to report that indeed...something has gone akward with the springfields accuracy. if you sway even a tiny bit, accuracy is seriously off

Just stand still and aim down sights, youll notice the sights drift from side to side now.

I just love the carcano rifle!
1st = model
2nd = texturing
3rd = Aiming
4rd= Iron shigth (not shure what is, but i tink is that ting were you need to lock to aim.)
5ve= sound
6ix= animations (reloading, shooting, ect...)
I dont care what people vote for, in my opinion, i love carcano rifle! :D

agreed 300%. The hooded one kinda clutters the target and I usually have a tougher time taking aim in low light/contrast conditions...

I like to pretend the Carcano is a Mosin with the straight bolt and all. It makes me happy.

I honestly hope the devs will fix the Springfield in the next patch, because something is seriously up with it. It was never that inaccurate, in fact it was one of the most accurate bolt-actions in the war.
