After having accounced our newest Italy Campaign, Campaign 9: Veni, Vidi, Vici, in our last news and enjoying some of its maps together with you during Italian Friday, this week we want to give you some details. I Campaign 9: Veni, Vidi, Vici you will be able to experience
Forgotten Hope 2 at its best as a member of either the American 2nd Armor Division or the German 29th Panzergrenadier Division.
The 2nd Armor Division was a American armored division and played important roles in the fightings in North Africa, Sicily, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany. The division suffered 7,348 casualties, including 1,160 killed in action in 238 battle days during its service in WWII and was recognized for distinguished service, beeing cited by the Belgian Government twice division soldiers for the next 50 years proudly wore the fourragere of the Belgian Croix de Guerre.

The 29th Panzergrenadier Division was a German mechanised division, originally created as the 29th Infantry Division in 1936. It participated in the fightings in Poland, France, Soviet Union and Italy. It was destroyed during the battle of Stalingrad and was reconstituted in France. Then transferred to Sicily as the 29th Panzergrenadier Division it fought in the defence of Messina, Salerno, Anzio, and San Pietro. It was destroyed in Northern Italy just before the end of the war.
