I can't wait to get my hands on the light tanks in Normandy. They are my favourite tanks in NA but my nemesis the AT-rifle spoils some of the fun. I hate being taken down by a boys rifle from fog distance. However, in Normandy that won't be a problem so I will rape infantry safely and just back away when there's an enemy tank nearby.  ;D

Oh trust me in Normandy the tankers are the prey not vice versa. ^^

OK, then I'll grab my panzerschreck and hide in the bushes FH0.7-style!  8)

Nice update. I like especially the textures of both the tank and binocs.

New Stuart looks good and so does those US binoculars.

By the way did the M5 see any action during the NA campaign? I'm asking because it would be nice to see this uparmoured little bugger wreaking havoc on some of the older maps where it actually could have a real chance against the panzers.

Ohh and is the new Purple Heart Lane bigger compared to Attack on Carentan map in FH0.7? Looking at the new minimap it seems to me that the highway part was smaller in the 0.7 version. Also the village part seems somewhat bigger compared to old map.

Slightly better timing, still at midnight hours. Three to five hours earlier would be better. =p

Oh and that Stuart is gonna burn! Ja!!11

YES!

THANK YOU for putting the M5A1 in! My prayers have been answered! It looks amazing. Possibly one of the best models for FH2 I've seen. Spot on perfect. Can't wait to use it.

i think the M5 light tank is better against infantry because it's more agile... Shermans are big , slow targets...perfect for my panzerfausts.

Doesn't matter how you slope that armour. Ha.

Stunning models and skins. Also very nice to see new members once again.

By the way, how much damage does a bazooka make to a Tiger, say the front?

Nice.  This is a brand spankin' new tank, correct?  IIRC, there was no M5 Stuart in FH1.

Nice to see some new blood on the Dev table, too.  Even it was just a donation, I hope they come back and help out some more.

ok,
I have a real question about Purple Heart Lane if the mapper would be so kind as to answer it.

It would be historically inaccurate for the mortar platoon to really have been employed any earlier in the battle and as such, I would really like to know what the mapper's solution was...

Actually I think I made it like you say, so when Americans have taken Bridge No.4 (Belgian Gate famous bridge) the Mortar spawns on the other side of the bridge (behind the causeway bank from where the germans are) so that should be OK both historically and gameplay-wise.
Also bridge.4 is non recap for axis so it would mean little sense to place the mortar at the flag (I dislike the idea of defenders having to go into a non recap flagzone to kill the mortar guy).

@ Mokusaku - yes it feels slightly bigger, but its actually 1:1 scale to the real place... these fields are big, and the distance from 502nd mainbase to last flag is ~1600meters of gameplay distance.. that is also one of the reasons the first three flags are non recap for the axis, the game would never reach the final stage if they could take those back.

Looks good!
Unfortunately no German playermodels again :/
Purple Heart Lane minimap looks good and reminds me of a FHSW map. Good job!

Nice looking M5A1 indeed. Alina seems rather talented ( http://www.alinagal.com/index.html ), I hope we'll see more of her textures in the future.
