The ammo of the sIG33 is labeled as 105mm. Shouldn't it be 150mm?

Havent been geeking the game audio for some time, but been using these settings for more than a year. Suits my headphones and ears great     

rem ** Balance between 2d and 3d samples.
sound.setProperty "balance2d3d-default" 0.55
sound.setProperty "balance2d3d-eax" 0.5

rem ** Reverb and obstruction (0.55->1 sound-maxreverb 0.55)
vars.set sound-maxreverb 0.55
vars.set sound-reverb-steepness 0.55
vars.set sound-raylength 17

Thank you for the nice post. I just bought the SoundblasterX G6 and I hope I can achieve the same effects base on your tutorial. I have a question here, did you use these settings in your game play?

I also see a section about lights in the file, what does those do?

Well, to at least respawn in a less painful way. We can make this function to respawn after 30s of surrendering (like suicide bomb but without explosion). I think we can put it that if dead in the surrendered state, it doesn't count as death in scoreboard and the enemy kill you will reduce score.

This will help with the gameplay as there will be fewer desperate players committing suicidal attacks after left behind enemy lines or become the sole survivor of a squad.

There has been multiple times I really wanted to surrender while playing FH2. Would it be possible to add something similar to the surrender/drop kit like that in Project Reality. When I am surrounded or my tank is about to be destroyed, I always wanted to surrender but currently no matter what I do, I always have a weapon in hand and the other players just shoot me.

i wonder why the the damage drop was chosen to be only effective from 60 - 90 degrees? Wasn't angling a box-shaped tank like tiger at 45 degree a valid tactic?

Because this is no military simulation. It is part of the fun to know when you made a kill or not, also it is helpful to know if you just wounded your enemy or killed him.

It is midway between fun and realism. This way you can optimize the game to your liking and others who want hud elements for example or want kill messages keep them.

But then you're at a disadvantage. After all it's a competitive game and not a cooperative one. Forcing it server side would mean everyone plays under the same circumstances.

That I agree. I see the CMP server removed the hit marker, maybe one more step?

Why don't have have it hidden on default? Since we don't have a crosshair, why not just take it further more to not knowing if you made a kill?

Hello everyone,

After playing some years of FH2, I start feeling that the kill info on the top left screen and the hit notification is really killing the immersion. wouldn't it be better to remove it? We can keep the minimap and chat.
