well, if it requires only some easy reworking of grant it would be already added but it isn't so easy as it looks and I think we need completely new model for Lee. I'm afraid that there won't be any as there were shermans already in use in NA and we have them already in game. Also devs are mostly concerned on the eastern front now (what we could see in previous news)  :-[

But... but... Lee can also be used on the Eastern Front! And the Britons also got some of them!

It would be quite interesting if Americans start the map with Shermans but spawn mostly Lees after a certain number of flags have been capped. Effectively the opposite of the Tiger spawning on Tunis when things get dire...

Wait, what? There's a Tiger on Tunis now?

FH2 is the game, DarklyDreamingDexter is the name.

For a second i though i entered the wrong site, they looked like CoH tanks to me due to those markings!

My first thoughts too...
Now I know, where Relic got this idea...

Was there any difference in the hull from the Grant? I mean, besides the Turret.

Which begs the question,

besides the turret on the Early Tiger II was there any difference in Hulls?
Cuz that seems like it should be an easy mod...

Sure will love to see those tanks in Fh2. But frankly, it would pretty much be a Grant with all the flaws....
I think its the propaganda of movies like Sahara that is making me ache for that tank so much.

Couldn't care too much about the Tiger II_early. That thing had a fugly turret anyhow.

oh and how cool is the name of the thread?!

"Sun-Dried Generals"

Good one, Azreal!

Good one, Azreal!

Grant had thicker armour IIRC.

But why would the Americans do that? Give the Brits the better tank?

That cant be smart...

but OT, sorry. I wonder if the yellow star and bars make those tanks easier or harder to see.
I imagine a map like Kasserine for them, meaning it wont matter that they are so... I dunno...

green?

Again, America? Is that smart?

The British were the ones who ordered the modifications, and designed the new turret.  Also the Sherman was coming into the field to replace the Lee by 1943, so it didn't matter too much to the Americans.

And Tunisia is greener than you think.  For instance, here's a photo of the mountains of Tunisia:
