The Focke-wulf?
« on: 18-04-2009, 18:04:14 »
What happened to the focke-wulf? You guys posted a picture of it:

WITH desert textures(?) and it's not in the game yet. And even toh normandy is creeping up on us its not listed as "Normandy veichle" or even in the list for german airplanes.

That is no Desert Camo my friend.
This is it:

The Render is from a News for the Normandy (check the grey box outside the render!)

And here it is ingame:

Straight from a 2.2 newsupdate in August 08

I'd rather ask what happened to creator of it - Bender64.

It was his first and only model shown. I'd guess brutality of grey life...

According to Toddel this model and skin was a donation by Bender64. Even though he was announced as a new developer, probably a mistake.

Ya, the Focke Wulf right now won't have a desert texture and will not be seen in any desert maps. Although I'm sure as 2.2 nears release time, the website will get updated with all the proper vehicles that are still missing.

Tiny, now I`ll use Typhoon, not Beaufighter  :P you have to fear that "china dragon"  ;D
But i hope Focke-wulf won`t be se unmaneverable as it was in 0.7. That was tragedy :'( . 110 was more maneverable than wf-190  >:(

Btw I`d like to see american planes over normandy ;D P-38 lightning - love that plane :-*, P-47 Thunderbolt or P-51 Mustang. And guys, will we see 109 and Spitfire in 2.2 ???

Well, 109 and Spit is already there so I assume it will also spawn in on the green fields of Normandy.  :D

And I'm sorry about the lame manuever I pulled on you last night Cin3k33, but tbh, I was to tired to pull anything else.  ::)

It is actually very hard to shake off a spit + a good pilot in a 109 by turning and looping, if you know what I mean. It is do-able, but it's pretty hard.

And I damn sure hope the FW190 will be more manueverable, I don't mind it beeing slower than the 109, but it has to take turns better. Otherwise...the luftwaffe will always be out-turned.  :o

Guys, since when fw-190 is slower and more manoeuvrable than 109? It's the opposite.

Well as I understand it.

FW190 - Faster at low altitude, a bit slower at high altitude. More manueverable at any altitude. Meaning it could out-turn the 109 at any altitude.

Here's a video as well:
