The truth is, EA has given us little to no reason to have any faith in them what so ever to listen to the modding community.
Time and time again it seems they have pretty much done all that is in their power to prevent mods from happening. If you recall, BF1942 wasn't designed to be modded either... people had to come up with hacks just to modify the game files!
