Title: Colour Lobby got its way

This just goes to show that their incessant posting (in the old forums, you won't find them here) finally wore down the devs to the point where they simply caved in and let a vocal minority have its way.

Sorry, but its a black (and white) day for FH.

Post by: Ts4EVER on 01-04-2009, 20:04:42: I was always for a black and white FH2. I mean seriously, when you are an expert and sight hours after hours of genuine WW2 footage (like me) you just know beyond any doubt that it's the only way to truly represent this conflict.

Post by: Propa McGanda on 01-04-2009, 21:04:39: I played quite a bit of FH1 without color. My video card let me play it in a sepia tone with some film reel grain and such as well. Just like in the good ol' days.

I can't wait to see the gray, white and dark grey flying over Normandy soon.

The "B&W film mode" has been in FH2 since 2.0, but it can only be used on non-punkbustered servers.

With that said:

1. Open mods/fh2/GameLogicInit.con in notepad. Add a line
Code: [Select]
run fh2-classic.con anywhere in this file. Save.
2. Download this (http://ifihada.com/~jbp/.fh2/fh2-classic.con) to your mods/fh2 folder.
3. Start a single player game and voila!

To disable, delete your changed GameLogicInit.con and replace with your backup.

For the record I really like these forums... I'm beginning to settle in and think FH2 really needs to stay HERE.

and now watch as everybody rips on me and my different opinion... :(

Anyways, it's just an April Fools joke, so don't get all out of whack about it.

what do you mean people like me? ??? its not like i went screaming around because of this.. i just said i dont like the
idea. its people like you that make me wonder if people really did decend from apes. ;D and ill admit, the FH2 team got me.
