In this forum, you can discuss your tactics in Forgotten Hope - weither you want to share your experience with other players, or you're just looking for some tips.

One things that is absolutely not allowed in this forum is the discussion of exploits and glitches. A glitch is a mistake in the mod, where you can exploit an object to get an unfair advantage over others. An example is crouching in a certain place so you get pushed inside a building where you can shoot at other players, but they can't shoot back at you. We try our best to check our mod for these things, but it can happen that one or two make it through. These are bugs and we would appreciate it if you posted these in the bug reporting forum so we can take care of them as soon as possible. Using exploits and glitches will get you banned on most servers!

As in the other forums, please check if there isn't already a thread on the subject you want to talk about before making a new thread. If you do make a thread while there is already one on the subject your thread may be deleted or merged with the other thread.

Suggestions / How to: Suggestions - Read Before Posting

In this forum you can post any suggestions you may have for Forgotten Hope 2. Please keep in mind that someone else may already have had the same idea you have, so to prevent making two threads on the same subject, see if the subject you want to talk about hasn't already been discussed.

Another important thing to remember before posting a suggestion is that Forgotten Hope has a limited development team. We cannot possibly make every single vehicle and weapon for this mod, so we have to make priorities. As a result, very rare vehicles will probably not be included any time soon, so suggesting them is of little use. On the other hand, we have qualified historical researchers, so suggesting vehicles like the Sherman tank and Panzer IV is also pointless.

When making a suggestion, please be detailed. A simple post saying "How about an Omaha Beach map?" is pointless and may even be deleted. Also, make sure your thread title is descriptive of its contents. A thread with the title "A suggestion" will be edited.

You can ask any question you want regarding Forgotten Hope in this thread. The other developers and I will do our best to help you with anything you may want to know. Keep in mind though that there are certain things we like to keep a surprise until we show it on the news.

A: We do not give any form of release date or estimate for any patch, not untill it's officially announced on their website about a few weeks in advance.

The reason? It's very hard to estimate, let alone set a release date and only at the last moment can we be sure when  a release can be made. And even then it's a though struggle to actually release on the given date. It's just very difficult to estimate how much time it will take to complete an object, let alone a whole map and then we aren't even talking about the lenghty process fine tuning, which takes weeks.
