Dear Devs, i do not have much time for playing these days but this will surely bring me back for some good old fun! It is amazing what personal interest and dedication can create! Thanks for one of the best WW2 game-experiences to this day.

Guys, I know, the forum sucks in showing the latest post in our Feedback sub-board, but all individual map changelogs have been published by now (with the only exception ATM being the Bulge and Germany maps. I'll add their changelogs slightly later). They may entertain you while you're updating to 2.5 :)

Take a special look at the changes on Brest, Alam Halfa and Op. Hyacinth, a lot of significant improvements there.

Nice read! It is astonishing how many maps are now in FH2 :o and that the old ones still get some well deserved love.

Huge props and see you on the battlefield!

FH2 Help / Support / Crash after New Harddrive
« on: 12-07-2014, 23:07:00 »
Hey guys, i got myself a new ssd on which i put the windows installation. BF2 and FH2 are installed on my old harddrive, without the old windows installation of course.
So now i can start the game and click on a server in the browser but i get an instant CTD after that. obviously because the old windows partition is gone.
Now, because i am not really motivated to reinstall and patch and download everything again, i wanted to ask if someone knows if i need to add some files on my new windows installation to make it work again or do i really have to reinstall everythig?

Cheers

Good fixes! I am wondering what has been done to the ragdolls? The strange BF2 bodyphysics were always a huge immersion breaker for me

Well, in fairytale land somewhere behind Uranus the "state" can just create goods and services for the people by using a giant 3D printing machine, but in reality in order to spend something you have to produce something.
You mix up so many things and just draw conclusions as they fit your perspective. Once again, i highly recommend reading the stuff i mentioned earlier. And you do realise that money is, ideally, only a more convenient method of exchanging goods?

Well, since i am still looking for the topic for my masters thesis in political science i would be very interested in such a theory :D :D

I am actually thinking of making an thesis also about my ideals wen i get myself to University, and start by there with my "Political Expansion"

I dont have any problems for outsiders to know about such plans, since i would also like other nations in the world to follow the same steps as Portugal will.

(btw: just by curiosity, what was your professional aim in order to get yourself in Political Sience?)

I still have not read any actual thoughts on how your cool new way of shaping politics and economies would work besides establishing "educracy". You gotta come up with more than that to persuade people ;).

You know, on a serious note, if you are really interested in politics and how and why states form you should start at the very base. Lots of very intelligent people have thought about that stuff in the last couple thousand years. I would recommend, in the following order:

Platons Politeia. The basic political thoughts of Aristoteles. Hobbes Leviathan. Lockes Two Treatieses of Government. Rawls Theories of Justice. Nozick may be worth a read too, for all you anarchists. Buchanan is nice too, though more from an economic perspective.

There is tons more but these are very important in my opinion. Should get your mind off of that nonsense you produce.
