Latest version is available through the CMP Updater now as well.

I don't know where to look - it seems I can no longer log in ("the server has refused the connection"). I haven't done anything since playing before.

Any solution to this?
The master server is down atm and is being investigated, that's why you couldn't connect.

Please accept our thanks for finally having made one of our most played mods standalone
I'm very glad to hear that. I always felt that this game deserved more attention. The installation procedure was tedious to say the least which repelled a big chunk of newcomers, and I just tried to simplify it as much as possible.

I would like to just come with a question, id est if the yet available Forgotten Hope 2 server (http://fhbeta.warumdarum.de/~spitfire/fh2pub/2.56/fh2-server-3.7.432.tar) is compatible with your standalone client. We would need it to host big LAN matches, as we did previously, but I would like the confirmation that softwares are compatible with each others.
It should be as the only thing I removed from the base game in order to save weight is the folder with maps, but I haven't tested such a usecase speficially, tbh. However, if any compatibility will emerge then just let me know and I'll try to fix it.

FH2 Help / Support / Re: Help Needed With Download 2.56
« on: 19-05-2020, 17:05:09 »
This problem surely will limit the number of new players because 32bit is still relatively popular today. I think its a major flaw of 2.56...
Do you use XP by any chance? I discovered the cause of the problem, it was the newest Inno Setup version I used to compile the standalone installer (6.x), because as it turned out, XP support was deprecated with its release. I did a fresh Windows reinstall some time ago and had to install Inno from scratch as well, but didn't pay attention to the deprecation notice. Now I'll have to recompile the installer using old version, and I bring apologies on my end for that.

I apologize for the late reply, but Slayer is right about built-in keygen, standalone installer generates unique CD-key from your hardware IDs (like HDD serials, etc.), thus the resulting CD-key should be pretty unique.
