I am surprised that doesnt include the bit about Maise (right-handed) insisting on learning the swordfighting scenes left-handed because Arya is a lefty in canon.

I think they had to add more for Dany so showfriends wont forget about her/complain. And I laughed at Dany being in "friendship is magic land" because in ways it is a little true, shes an idealist. But this also implies she is soft, and easily pushed around because of this. Just wait, her story has barely started.

It's too bad they had to age up Sansa for the show, she was 13 or so in the books, so her naive swooning after Joffrey and the ease with which she is manipulated makes a lot more sense. She does seem rather dumb currently cause you expect her age to show more maturity.

So I see today a post on Steam and the Sins Rebellion forums about the Visari coming soon. : )

I better mount this learning curve soon. My mid-game is currently a bit sloppy.

It's a 600 page book crammed into 10 episodes, try to keep up. :P

If you happen to have one of the books I think there's a helpful breakdown of the families/groups.

...I tried to find something similar for you online just now Paasky but all of the ones I found were either horrible to navigate or contained spoilers...or both. >_>

Stop it theta youre making me frisky.

Community Polls / Re: Artillery effectiveness
« on: 07-05-2012, 21:05:56 »
Lucky, that's one of the things from the bf1942 engine I preferred. The way the spotter view was tied to the location of the spotter at the time, and the way it "tracked" the arty shells made it a more balanced system to use. A long range spot wouldnt give as clear a view as a close range spot, and neither would be top down.

But I understand it's an engine limitation, and the current system does a fine job. I do like the dials on the side much more than the vague bf1942 system.

More casualties were inflicted by artillery than anything else during the war, so I'm happy to see it's (strong) presence in the game. : )

Really? The stuff in Winterfell was pretty important. The other story lines were a bit less eventful this episode, but it's all setting up for big events coming.

The Iron Born are boss that's why.

I think there is a lot more to cover with Kings Landing and Winterfell, in addition to the North...and Quarth...yeah I dont know how they could fit it all into 4 episodes. I guess roughly an hour per storyline might do it, but it's awfully tight...

D:

I play Elder Scrolls in the pits of loneliness with tears streaming out of my eyes! How can I do this if it's multiplayer?

Seriously? There's not any optimization that can be done to the card like downloading an older Directx version or something? I find that disheartening. Unless maybe it has to do with the massively parallel GPUs that older games cant really make good use of?

I think the onboard intel graphics in the latest CPUs might be able to play FH1.

I wonder if the sniper and scout could "deploy" their rifles and have a second slot that behaves exactly the same, except it can re-chamber whilst zoomed in...

The question is, how many British smoke grenades can it deploy on screen at once?

I am going to soon build a new desktop to replace my aging dual core configuration. I am a little out of date with my knowledge of the current hardware market and would like to start a discussion. Any who want to chime in or ask questions feel free. With Ivy bridge released recently, I am thinking of adopting the new socket and mobo, although they seem to be having heating issues so I hope I make out alright. Then there's the world of video cards...

I came.

When did video cards get that cool. Mine still has a copper and plastic heatsink and a PCI express connection. : (

Also, Im thinking red LEDs this time around. >_>

FH2 is like an underground, amazing band that plays in an unknown area of a well known town. We are the loyal followers/groupies who wonder when people will finally recognize our favorite band for how awesome it is. People dont stumble across it often, and the location makes it too much of an effort to reach for most people. Some people think the area is strife with gang violence.

Face it, we are the indie rockers of the gaming world.
