The APHE was not so well designed   

After war they designed a proper round, wich penetrated 50% more, did more damage and had a muzzle velocity of 900 M/S  but ye, the war had ended then :v

yeah, but my question was "why would i use AP shells anyway, if HE does the job aswell and you are also prepared for infantry attacks?". - nobody would use AP shells except if you are out of HE-Shells.

Well we have kingtigers penetrated by fireflies frontally (ingame) ... so i think the SU152 will be worse -.-

on the contrary: If even a kingtiger gets 1 shot frontally ingame the panther HAS TO 1 shot a SU152 frontally (and not just with pzgr40).

75mm of sloped armor, no problem for panther, PZIV/StuG is a diffrent thing

And then we have Sherman 76mm penetrating panthers 80mm frontally ingame, so why not 75mm/L48 guns with pzgr40 damaging a SU152 frontally?
Im not talking about 1 shotting the thing, but at least damage should be dealt.

HVAP from the Ordnance QF 17 pounder can penetrate the front of an Tiger II. And a 152 mm shell from the ML-20 howitzer will, if not penetrate, rip off the armour or cause massive spalling that obliterates the crew.

But yeah, you better hit on the first try or the faster guns will get the not too armoured I/SU.

We really need to do something with the deckshots/cupolashots. Is it possible to give some special attribute to the handheld AT weapons so that only they can damage those parts?

many ideas exist, but they can prove difficult to implent so i heard

I did like the idea of the invisible walls. This is definitely doable, but would require all of the models updated, which might not be too easy due to the sheer number of said models.
