Title: 5 years ago we lost a good friend.
Post by: siben on 25-08-2011, 19:08:41
Yes people, i am talking about Pluto, it has been 5 years now since some fancy "scientist" guys decided to kick it out of the "cool planet" club only because Eris was bigger. Don't worry, you are still a planet to me Pluto!

On a different note, why was the flag flying at half-mast in Finland today?

If Pluto remained a planet, then Ceres, Eris, Haumea, and Makemake would be being left out.

Pluto is no longer a full planet, get over it already.

Yeah, but they would form a new group, that is ok, it's just a dick move to tell someone to bugger off and find someone else after he has been a member for like 80 years.

Hey, just because he does it a little different does not mean he is not a planet. He Orbits it just like everyone else.

It has been scientifically proven/decided to not be a planet. Not even "god" can change or argue against that. Get over it.

But Pluto isn't forever alone.  It has Charon, Nix, Hydra and P4 to play with.

Mercury, Venus and Makemake are forever alone.

But when you see a map of the solar system, Pluto is almost always included, unlike Charon, Nix, Hydra and P4. Even if it's "not a planet" it is still the outer most ring on said maps!

Pro-tip: Charon, Nix, Hydra and P4 are Pluto's moons.

The full order is:
Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Ceres, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, Haumea, Makemake, Eris.
Which means you have to make a rhyme for MVEMcJSUNphme.

Scientist know nothing about planets, just pretends they do. Don't trust em. Pluto is a hell of a iceplanet and always will be!

IIRC, some asteroids in the belt between Mars and Jupiter are nearly at the same size of Pluto.

Get over it!

That's the thing, nobody ever bothered to check so it very well might be full of them there!

Must be evil dinosaurs who threw asteroids at Earth so the competition would go extinct.
