Fall of Tobruk is my favourite, followed by Operation Supercharge, Sidi Rezegh, Alam Halfa and Sfakia.

I'm all about the Africa maps, even though servers tend to empty a little they will always be the closest to my heart.

I'm not a big fan of the Bulge maps and I don't love all the Normandy ones either.

Hear! Hear!

I voted for Fall of Tobruk, also my favourite, Operation Hyacinth, Sidi Bou Zid as my desert jewels and then Omaha and Port en Bessin as the Normandy maps that are nice.

Although I thought I would like them I have a dislike for Bulge maps these days, Africa is where the cool kids go.

I love Africa too, and I love Sidi Rezegh the best! It is a beautiful map, it is an old-time favourite of mine and although it has a lot of haters I really enjouy this map a lot while playimng, or just running around on it. Lately I played some rounds which went actually like it was once i ntended, which made my heart swell and vote nr 1 for Sidi once again.

The other Africa maps are more or less the same as before, so my other votes go elsewhere:

nr 2 goes to Omaha, a new map which gave me a thrilling feeling on release night, something I had not experienced since 2.2 came out, or was it even when I started playing FH2 after a long break from FH1? The map itself is good too, although I really like Gold Beach too.

nr 3 goes to Meuse River as it has seen some much needed changes, same goes for the other two maps I voted for: PHL and PdH. They became much more enjoyable gameplaywise now, imo.

Purple Heart Lane, St Lo Breakthrough, Bastogne, Vossenack, Falaise Pocket. I don't know what it is exactly, but it just feels great playing on those. PHL is my favorite, cuz paratroopers (albeit not jumping out of planes) + M1A1 Carbine + Normandy flood plains at dawn = awesome.

Never did like the Africa maps (I only got interested in FH2 with its Normandy release) though if I were to pick at least one map, it'd have to be Sidi Bou Zid.

Talking as a single-player: Vossenack and Meuse.
No major problems with the AI, action packed, overall nice atmosphere, vehicles and weapons.

Not a big fan of the hedgerows war... so, the late war maps with an open terrain and some urban warfare are just great.

Great thread. Unfortunately I cannot vote just yet, because the maps are not broken down by size. Bastogne 16 has nothing to do with Bastogne 64, they share only a name.

Keren 32 is a night map in which the allies have to cross a vast open ravine/valley and climb hills by foot under constant fire, where Keren 64 is a sprawling daytime map in which the allies have huge amounts of tanks and support vehicles, including air support and several different attack routes to choose from at any point in the map.

Eppeldorf 64 is a big combined arms love fest with fresh sparkling snow crunching under your sherman treads, but Eppeldorf 32 is a scary infantry only night map where nazi's jump out and molest you from the shadows, and eppeldorf 16 is an insult to human intelligence, a spazm of toddler tantrums on a poorly conceived hilltop in king of the hill (idiot) mode where the name of the game is spawn rape.

You see where I'm going.... I may love one, and hate the other.

Bastogne is still my favorite map, not only in FH2 but in all BF games that I played. It is just perfect and a masterpiece and it offers everything a BF map needs.

Other maps on my list: Op. Totalize, Villers Bocage, St. Vith and Sidi Bou Zid. It is really difficult to vote though as I like different maps for different reasons and every map deserves it's place in the mod. Even Sidi Rezegh *cough*  ;D

Bastogne, it's only a shame that the 100 player servers make the tickets run out too fast so it stops when it starts to get epic.
