I wouldnt exactly say lost but yeah, its a good combination. very intresting concept

The acting is good, but not as good as Boardwalk empire or such. But its the concept behind it, the world, the props, and the epic dino's that make this thing stand out

Long story short= 2149, earth is dying, atmoshphere frakked, selected people go trough a time rift 85 million years into a pararell universe to start over

Surely mid 22nd century technology is no match for dinosaurs?

I mean, in Jurassic Park you had unarmed kids, archaeologists and Jeff Goldblum, but fully armed mechanised soldiers having trouble with animals?

mh those people are pretty stupid to go back into a time where dinos lived., cause everyone knows that they died by an astroid crashing with the earth, and thats something you cant stop with a hand full of people.

Send them back to 4000 B.C and its good. There you can fight the Egypts ect.

Actually they have a "time rift" and not a "time machine", so it only goes back to 85M BCE and not any other time. Also, the asteroid hypothesis is not universally accepted (though it is the current consensus) and there's 20 million years between 85M BCE and the K-T extinction event. (By contrast, Homo Sapiens have been around for 200 000 years.)

yeah was not going into details. But its a fact that dinos died, so something hugh happend, supervulkan, asteroid,  Chuck Noris going back in time running amok.

Still its stupid to have wild animals that are 100 times bigger then you. . .

Me dont like movies with dinos^^

You missed the part about a parallel timeline/universe, the writers gave that some lines in the first episode to steer clear of that. I'm willing to bet they read the internet buzz when Terra Nova was first thought of, slapped themselves, and wrote in the probe scene with the dialogue.

It's pretty bad though. I was looking forward to it, checking up on it, but what we got was... crap. I believe my neighbours kid (4) likes it though. I quit during episode 3. I couldn't take it anymore. I highly doubt it will be back and not fade into obscurity.

Yep. Lost itself was very good but the writers couldnt land a proper ending to it
