Speed back the trucks!

Its one thing to speed down the kubel(and jeeps) because these where maybe to fast but why the trucks?

Tried some SP on some africa maps and Im telling you, people using trucks will get killed easily by tanks, they wont stand a chance.

Civilian vehicles are also so slow. You can easily point your bolt action rifle to drivers head and shoot his brain off.

These vehicles werent ferraris, you have to realise that they were ludicrious with their speeds before. They are still faster than walking and most of them are faster than tanks.

I agree with flippy here. No one sane in his mind drove in front of an enemy tank like a dacar race car. It will not be pleasant at first as most of you guys are used to quick sand cruise but on the bright side there wont be as much backcapping.

While I agree that the trucks and stuff are at little too slow, there is a more pressing issue.

its slower than running, tanks, and everything else.

Right now though its like its got a governor at about 15mph.

The cars, trucks, planes and tanks were toooooooo fast in old versions, this led to stupid gameplay and wonky physics with immersion killer stunts.

We can do small fixes here and there if some are off, but don't expect the 2.15 Ferraris back, they are gone for good

Yep, i agree with the speeds, they are fine at there new settings.

But it does make me wonder...

Do the speeds listed for vehicals on the FH website have any relation to them in game? Because the speeds have changed in game, but not on the list.

Although i am with the speed changes, i agree with UB3R_SN1P3R that the speed which is too slow now is the jeep. They are road legal U.K cars, that means they can reach atleast 70mph!

But all in all i love the gameplay tweaks in 2.2!

 How about "big" fixes that you made that were stupid like getting rid of vehicle horns?  Anyways, the jeep crawls terribly and when it is going uphill I can actually walk faster than it.

 I know a couple guys with Willys jeeps and they would never dare to go as fast as the speedometer allows, as the jeep will flip if it hits a bump in the road.

Willy's never had them, and I know they are still on the Kubels and the new Opel Coupe car.  I don't know about the trucks, but the bicycle still has it's bell as well...

 the jeeps I driven in-game haven't had a horn sound. it's harder to get ppl's attention to give them a ride if they can't be given an audible cue.

edit: are u sure Ionizer? I could have sworn I have leaned on the Willys horn. IRL it has a horn anyways, it's got quite a sharp sound to it that is very distinctive.

The Willy's didn't have a horn in 2.15, I don't know if it has one now.  I also don't know if it had a horn in previous versions of FH2, I can't remember.  It did have a horn in FH1 maybe that's what you're remembering?
