And not that you will even try to hit something above 50 meters with a pistol anyways.

-i am fairly sure that if they took porn off the internet, there would only be one website left and it would be called bring back the porn "Perry cox, Scrubs.

Ummm... a properly designed and manufactured firearm should discharge only if there is a constant force pulling the trigger back, no matter the amount of shaking, throwing, dropping, jumping on top of it, smashing it to the wall, or whatever else you could come up with. However, if you have the need to construct an automatic weapon as cheaply as possible from as simple and as few components as possible, then you might have to compromise on something, like the possibility of an accidental firing... :P

Wow, nice whine. First whine about the fact that it isn't there, and when it comes it is "too late". Sorry, but you sound like you can never have enough, ungrateful, blegh.

Also, you act like FH2 players left because of the lack of this kind of threads. Maybe it was factor for some, but I think certain nerdfantasy games are more guilty.

what happened to all the vegetation at allied airfield? :-\
This isn't the definitive version:

and yes the animations feel as good as they look :D

its controvers if pointing guns to the ground is that good.
like ricochet (querschläger not sure if the word that leo gave me is good) or when you walk that you hit the soldier infront of you in his foot.

Good to see that this topic was made, I myself started an attemped some time ago, cant find it though atm, otherwise I would copy paste the stuff inside here. :)

Point your barrel down and risk hitting your friend's foot.
Point your barrel up and risk hitting your friend's face.

Easy choice.

no as you point it up in another way then pointing down.
pointing up is more like barrel straight into the air, without an angle.

When you mess around on the battlefield, jumping in and out of APC doors, building windows etc. your barrel is going to be moved around a lot. Better to keep it pointed down as much as possible.

Animator to animator...the only 'poor' things I've ever seen in FH2 are two things:

The floaty body sub-groups of meshes on some of the weapons, most particularly the bolt-action rifles (k98) which appear to be shifting away from each other and the mesh at times.

Also, the Composition-B and Satchel Charges are pretty bad, considering half the time you don't even see your hands holding the item during a 'throw animation' and it is particularly hard to judge where your character is going to throw them because of that.  You want to look down, but you can't.

Keeping those items on the viewable portion of the screen...or...for much longer before they are thrown will do wonders for the animations and improve the perception of the player as to how the throw will turn out.

Could also be an opportunity to screw with players and have the head camera follow your hands down to the object in the player's hands, momentarily making you miss what is going on in front of you increasing the danger factor.

Call of Duty does things like this quite nicely, fire one of them up and try to find an example of a satchel charge throw.

**Went ahead and uploaded a satchel throw from CoD:UO.  Im sure the other COD's will have different variations.

http://youtu.be/5tDfMQpVbqU

Note that you can see the satchel the whole time and that a cord is pulled to arm it.  Tossing it like that doesn't seem very FH2'ish but a flick of the wrist sideways could be a better option and make a shorter distance throw seem more plausible, as if you were throwing a frisbee.

---

Question:  Are 3p animations on things like AT guns and fixed Machine Guns possible?
