Even I have to agree with the Belgianer, the Bren needs serious hipfire accuracy improvement, I wasted an entire clip on an Italian dude 5m away from me.
He was not wrong. Amateurs talk tactics, pros talk logistics.

All these animations you do look so nice, we are so lucky to have such a good and hard working animator working on our favorite mod!

What I would really like to see though is new no.1 mk III Lee Enfield animations, always thought the animations for that particular weapon have felt out of place. Using No.4 animations that just happen to fit fairly well and look all right but one can see (if seen the no. 4 in-game) that the animations are really made for no.4 and not for no.1. Also makes the gun lose some character with no animations of it's own. That's something I'd like to see or even new sounds for it made by someone, maybe in the far future :P.

Yeah, the anims for the SMLE seems a bit outdated. Most of the bolt action rifle anims are, IMO

He is talking about having the need to lie down when using the MG. The standing MG firing isn't tested enough to know if it upsets balance.

exactly^ standing MGs will come

No it doesn't. Last time we tried them, even bolt action rifle easily competes against them in close quarters (sfakia). MG will only win if it's already deployed and waiting.

But things can and will certainly change to direction or another though.

So I can now fire MG while standing and "deploy" it in air while standing behind a small ridge and crouch to take cover?

Can I also "deploy" the MG 3 meters behind the window on standing position and fire from better cover? I mean who is stupid enough to go right behind the window.

Because that how I am going to use it if you can use it like that, and probably everyone else as well.

Does that mean the upcoming Dp28 will have hip-fire also?
You are bathing in misery and hope, waiting for someone to come and pull the plug.

How are you going to fix the "MG42-Issue"? Where does the belt go, over your shoulder? Or are you going to introduce a magazine for it? A 200 round belt hanging around would look rather strange. :P

Why would it be changed? I think it currently works just fine.

Seriously needs animated bullet chains so the game doesn't look so static and old.

Well, it is possible to make a bullet belt depletion but it concerns memory hacking. Not sure but it was mentioned before. Speaking of bullet belts and stuff, how's the situation with the stationary animations, Chad?
