As we approached the beaches, all I could think of was one specific line in the speech General Eisenhower before we left England: “The free men of the world are marching to victory!”
I felt reassured as we left in the L.C.I.’s even though I could not hear myself think because of the hundreds of explosions around me.

I still can’t describe the horror I saw when we stopped.

The hatch opened and suddenly the first 7 men die in front of me. I ran forward and as I approached the beach, I saw my own friends a few feet away from me have their arms and heads shot off, I could only see bullets flying... I didn’t even know where the hell we were, where was my company? All I could think of was that the war had begun.

Yep, you should be able to join the server with the same map. Just make sure you got it installed in the 2.3 version of FH2, as the last time the event was still in the 2.26 version of Forgotten Hope 2.

Battle of Britain
A Forgotten Honor Event

"Minutes went by. Green fields and roads were now beneath us. I scanned the sky and the horizon for the first glimpse of the Germans.
A new vector came through on the R.T. [radio telephone] and we swung round with the sun behind us.
Swift on the heels of this I heard Yellow flight leader call through the earphones.
I looked quickly toward Yellow's position, and there they were!
The sky seemed full of them, packed in layers thousands of feet deep.
They came on steadily, wavering up and down along the horizon.
'Oh, golly,' I thought, 'golly, golly . . .'

Features
  • The possibility of up to 48 planes fighting in the skies over the English Channel!
  • Exciting gameplay on a large 4 Km map!
  • Spitfires and Hurricanes vs. Stukas and BF109E's and F's!
  • Introducing radar (UAV) stations, for the British who man those bofors!
  • Introducing radar (UAV) for those that occupy the second seat of the beaufighter!
  • Non-pilots can by lending a hand at manning the bofors along the coast or flying second seat in the stukas and beaufighters!

Minor issues with the map:

You're welcome  ;D
It was odd tho, suddenly I heard someone shouting over ts that he was killed by a bazooka, now I know who it was that killed almost the entire squad >:(

To get back on the battlerecorder files, this is what I posted in the help section:
Will have a look into it, and let you know when I find out what exactly happened. My apologies for this inconvenience.

Edit: Ok it seems that there were problems in the recording of the battlerecorders, therefore the problem are the battlerecorder files itself. Not your programs. Shamefully we cannot recover them. With the next gamenight this problem is solved, and the battlerecorder files will be working by then.
Again, my apologies.

So that was you... We seriously had no idea at first what was going on :P Epic mistake ::)

Does anybody manage to play it with 16:9 resolution? I refuse to play it so far because it doesn't support my laptop resolution and only works in a small window

When you put all settings on high, you still get a reasonable/nice looking game. But for this you also have to put anti aliasing etc on highest ;)
