Although 7 bridges are a lot, watch Salzburg, Linz or other cities at a river - there are also a lot of bridges and they improve gameplay compared to one bridge as a joke-point...

well the town looks rather realisitc, but 5 bridges at such a small area are just madness^^
One big vehicle bridge, and a smaller pedestrian bridge would be enough imo.
Well better then just one like in ramelle and then a big spawmkillparty on both sides.

If you look at the screenshots, you can see there are actually more than 5.

Talking realistically, there should only be one bridge in the middle of the city. Gameplay wise you'd need one to the north part of the city and one to the south, and since the maps are scaled anyway I suppose it would be acceptable. However what can be seen in these screenshots is just riddiculous, but maybe thats just the bridge engineer in me talking. In all fairness, the map plays rather nicely.

A town of this size would never have more than one bridge. I refuse to believe it.

i ment 5 bridges at one spot ;)
and from the other screen, the town looks nice, at least better then a handfull of houses and a church for 500 people :D

Well as long as it plays good its fine :)

Salzburg has 150.000 and Link 190.000 people. and the rivers are both much bigger then this one, so comparing this here fails.

Thats right, it was a rather bad arguement, as everything gets scaled down...

The bridges look odd in that picture. But when you see the mapping done to the surroundings, the paths that connect to these bridges and so, it makes far more sense and they seem sort of logical. Sure, I'd remove three bridges from this map, but they arent that bad as that screenshot makes them seem.

I think the map looks ok, a bit symmetrical, like a BoB Luttich, and the snow is barely there, but then again, I dont know what date of the year it occured, and if it occured at all...
Considering the use of planes, I suppose it must have been before planes got grounded...

Would be fun either way, with all assets at our disposal - But I really wanted to see a map with heavier snow...

I do wonder about the tanks... no winter skins?

Concerning the snow and snow skins.  I think the intention is for it to be set just as the first snow began falling (so just before Christmas iirc) in a fictional scenario where the Germans broke through to the river.  Hence the patchy snow, the planes and the autumn textures.

It didn't really start snowing until the allied counter attacks anyway.

Autumn texture for the tanks would stillbe highly unrealistic.  Even if the snow is patchy, it is still most everywhere, and the Germans would have started whitewashing awhile before it got even that much on the ground.
