every time i go to play bf2 sandbox and just bf2 on multilayer it says invalid CD key and wont let me join PLZZZZ HELP.
and i have the 1.41 patch.

If its an invalid CD key error your best bet is probably to just call EA.
Have fun with that :-\

Simple re-install should fix this, so long as you have a legal copy of BF2, with your own crack.

what about bf2 sandbox and fh2 do i have to uninstall them then uninstall bf2 the reinstall bf2 then install the 1.41 patch then reinstall fh2 and bf2 sandbox?

No,just uninstall BF2, the mods should stay in their folder structure.

hay im a little lazy so could someone give me the link for FH2 2.2 download :-[ :P i mean FH2 2.15 download.. not the update the full download.

did you try to re-enter you cd-key directly into the registry ?
or use the Battlefield 2_code.exe that is located in the support folder in the bf2 folder.
this will allow you to re-enter your cd-key
as long as it is valid it should work

I kinda have this problem also. If I install PR, it will say "invalid cd-key", reinstall wont help. For some reason BF2 CD-KEY changer helps at this (changing same old cdkey for same cd-key :D) but after that, FH2 will say invalid cd-key. And then reinstall will help, but after thet PR wont again work >:(

when does bf2 check if the cdkey is valid ?
only when you log on a game server or also before when connecting to the account servers ?

If you have Battlefield 2
Click Start.
Go to Run.
Type regedit and hit OK button.
Click on plus sign next to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.
Click on plus sign next to SOFTWARE.
Double click on Electronic Arts folder.
Double click on EA Games folder.
Double click on Battlefield 2 folder.
Double click on ergc folder.
Data displayed will probably have x9392 only.
Right click on it and select Modify.
Type in x9392 and then your CD key.
note: don’t include hyphens.
Example: x9392(your Battlefield 2 CD key here)

then had to manually update PnkBster ::)

Type in x9392 and then your CD key.
note: don’t include hyphens.

worked for me
i suddenly had the same problem the game just crashed to desktop when i wanted to connect to a server

okay flyboyfx it all comes down to the machine. my other laptop did this several times and i beleive it has something to do with the server connection whether the machine is being bogged down or ur connection 2 bf2 server or the punkbuster client. It may correlatesmy vai to the amount ram u have as well. my vaio laptop with 2 gigs no problem but my hp with 1 gigs of ram had this problem!
Thats my take try it ignore it or wat ever!

well it works now.
this is the FIRST problem i have EVER had with bf2
the only other is my punkbuster needs to be manually updated. ??? ::) ::) ::) :P
