I checked several times but it looks just fine to me. The front page and any video page  looks as usual. No upside down videos or side panels or anything. Not earlier today and still not.

Maybe it only shows upside down in some countries for some weird reason? :S Got a screenshot?

No its for real just like Zixed said. The map is incredibly huge and therefore requires an extra amount of testers to hunt out bugs. There should be a server running it right now...

Nevermind,  youtube seems to randomly go upside down.

As for the planned FF prank, here is an official word on it (if mine wasn't official enough):

In the midst of all this I guess it's safe to tell you what the april fools joke was supposed to be. X-fire 'stole' our idea and we were going to make this place an official david hasselhoff forum complete with new header, avatars, signatures and titles. Any of the forum staff can confirm this from the information they were given. Taking the site offline was NOT a joke.

It's rather funny how Xfire "stole"  our idea. Last year we didn't had time to add a hoff skin and this year the forums went down on us.  A certain power must try to prevent the Hoff from burning our eyes. Heh.
