Mauser C96/Broomhandle/Boxcannon/Han Solo Badassery gun

We NEED this gun. No one can deny this gun is the most awesome pistol ever concieved!  ;D
Although it wasn't incredibally widespread as a personal sidearm, enough people used this gun to make it a possible addition and who could say no to this thing?
A lot were produced as well, over a million. We have the Sauer and that was only 200,000 (yeah, yeah ok the C96 wasn't made during ww2 whatever I don't care).
I don't expect to see any opposition. Anyway this gun will shoot you FIRST before you can say anything bad about it...

And yes the new browning with stock reminded me of this
Is there some reason this gun is not about?

I need this gun.  Not the fully automatic version for pussies, but the bog standard C96.  For the 'SS' officer.  For the Chinese.

Mostly its not in cuz the devs haven't made it.  The sauer found purpose as it was commonly used by the FJ.  The C96, maybe it'll be in eventually...hard to say.  It has been suggested repeatedly before though, and would indeed be the only pistol where a stock would actually be commonplace.

Aggro's made a few WIPs of it for NML, but they never got further than an outline, as far as I know.

Besides the Chinks, was da c96 relegated to only second line troops?  I can't recall ever hearing much about them outside the Great War.

Not really.  An actual laser gun wouldn't make good cinema.  Infrared is by its very definition not very visible, and even visible ones would simply be a dot of colour.  All battles would have to take place in aerosol can factories.
