I have a a lenovo N 500 laptop and was wondering if i'd be able to play FH2 (so bf2 as well i guess)

It has Pentium(R) dual core CPU T4200 @ 2.00 GHz 2.00 GHz
3.00Gb Ram
I think graphic card is Mobile intel 4 series express chipset family
1292mb total memory(?!?)

I would like to know before I buy the game

You most likely have a virtual RAM with that graphic card.
And the chip is not that great. I dont think that the game will run that well on your laptop.

It will probably run it, however due to the graphic card, on low settings. How old is your laptop?

laptop was bought about a month ago
it's brand new and in terms of release i think it came out the end of last year

Should most definately run it, but on low - medium settings. You can always download the Battlefield 2 demo to see how well it runs, but keep in mind FH2 requires much more power than BF2. However, if BF2 runs, FH2 will also run.

specs are good enough to run it but as many said before the gfx card is by far the weakpoint. since FH2 excels in grafic quality you will miss out on the good stuff but you should be able to run  it.

to avoid many problems
buy a RETAIL DVD copy of the game, the steam download version and the EA download version have problems (there are workarounds but it is rather inconvenient).
