Russian bomber Sikorsky 'Ilja Muromez'.
Hopefully you will not mind me correcting you, with the plane being Sikorsky "Russky Vityaz". Related, inspection of the plane by HIM Nicholas II.

The PiratesAhoy! Community, makers of the popular mods Pirates of the Caribbean: New Horizons and Age of Pirates 2: Gentlemen of Fortune, presents...

Hearts of Oak: Conquest of the Seas is a non-commercial PC game that is to become the historical seafaring game to end them all!
Fun, realistic gameplay on land and at sea, set during the Age of Sail, will provide extensive free play, exciting scripted storylines and intense multiplayer scenarios.
Our goal is to allow anyone interested in the era to be able to live their dream!

The gameplay will be similar in style to Akella's Storm Engine-based games that we are known for modifying, but we intend to take it further and offer more freedom, immersion and authenticity. The player will assume the role of a captain and have full command of their crew, being able to delegate tasks and give orders in the heat of battle. Dynamic hand-to-hand combat will make boarding enemy ships and capturing forts a fast paced, hectic experience. Whether you want to enlist in a navy, lead an honest merchant life, or resort to piracy, Hearts of Oak will offer many hours of gameplay.

Using the power of the CryEngine, and the knowledge and talent of our artists, the game will deliver stunning visuals worthy of tomorrow's PC hardware. You'll be able to explore a vast open world filled with highly detailed locations, ships and characters.

We are a team of volunteers, and due to the scale of this project, the game will take many months to develop. We will be releasing tech demos, alpha and beta versions over the coming months, but please be patient and have faith in our dev team. This is our dream game concept, and we are determined to make it a reality!
Help Wanted!

At this time, we are looking for more volunteers who could fulfil any of the following roles:

Programmer: Able to work with CryEngine to help us test and evaluate their suitability for the project.
GUI Developer: Prototypes user interfaces for the game, based on CryEngine.
3D Artist: Able to model various 3D assets for the game; the type of asset is up to the individual, and can include weapons, buildings, characters and ships. Guidance will be provided for historical references.
Musician: Creates original tracks for the game. A decent amount of experience is preferable.

If you're interested in joining our team, please visit our recruitment forum and introduce yourself: Piratesahoy.net
If you are unable to join our team, you can still help by spreading the word! If you know anyone with the skills we need, please do point them in our direction.

My deepest condolences for your loss Luftwaffe. I cannot even imagine such sudden moment, as you wrote it must have been utterly shocking. You ought to remind yourself that he lived to such a great age, in a vital condition and most importantly beloved by his family.

A video, huzzah! Made me very hyped and brought all the old sentiment back. :)

No it was not.

Regarding Mayhemic's mention of Mayak, I think even "better" prove of soviet ruthlessness that knew no limits is Semipalatinsk.

That German flag! Dienstflagge des Auswärtigen Amts (1893-1907) /Reichskolonialamts (1907-1918).

Is that supposed to be hidden BF1918 advertisement?  :D

Good luck anyway!

Radious is supposed to be the crème de la crème of all Rome II mods.

26
Haha, glorious indeed (being a draw is surely enemy propaganda), any account of what 7 fascists I knocked out before meeting Lenin once again?  ;D

27
Died a glorious death for the motherland, what more is there to wish?

I thought storytelling couldn't get any better, but then I saw this episode!  ;)

28
Are we supposed to play "spot the details" game here? Because, the whole storyline looks less fun than that game I have just proposed.

OK OK OK... I see Kazakhstan as a baggage. Toilet paper stuck on French's arse. India on the roof of the train. Will & Kate tea pot. 1966 world cup.

Best is still "Oppresing the Irish".

Now perhaps for some close action 45 mm AT? You are doing wonderful job storytelling. WinSPWW2 is one of the games (from the others perhaps DF) that is wonderful to read about but not that easy to play! :D

Once again your great storytelling, I admit, I missed it!  :)

If it's not taken, I'd take the old "three-incher", 76mm 1902 field artillery, for the glory of old Russia.
