FH2 Online Annoyances

Hmmm let's see what pisses me off ingame! Basically what ^ said - Punishing for unintended TKs.
Like last time was manning Arty on mareth line - I was doing my best to create smoke screens for my team and clear out flags before any attack took place....one shot by mistake hits a friendly....BAMM! Punish for TK! .....and I even apologised immediately.

People who hack so that they wear the german uniform on the british team:






He was blending in with the other germans, and would kill them aimlessly.  THey of course, got kill messages saying they were killed by a brit, and so ran around looking for him.  I had to type into chat his exact position when I figured out what was going on, and they eventually figured out that I was being serious, and killed him.

Don't know if he really hacked that. It's a very rare BF2 bug, I sometimes used to see it in vanilla BF2. Mostly the commander who got it, USMC with a MEC suit.

yes it's a very real bf2 bug, but extremely rare though

  Happened once to me when I first started playing in the WaW tourney.  I joined squad 1 on the axis side and ended up spawning on the squad 1 SL for the allied side.  The squad 1 for the allied happened to be attacking the flag we was defending and was their Divisional staff.  I was like "LOL I am just spawning in and raping them!  They are so slow and stupid....".  On the allied side all they saw was a brit spawning in and raping the squad.  If not for the fact that I was spawning in with a K98 it probably would have been my first and last WaW campaign.

It's not a bug, it's a feature. Spies were very commonplace in WWII.
I think I've seen the bug before. Did he spawn as such all the time or just once? Would be pretty bad if it actually were a hack.

He was like that for the entire round and about 13-14 deaths IIRC.

i remember seeing something like that, i trough it was the old name tag bug, but worse.

it was fun, i manage to track him trough the minimap (he was on my team) and kill him xD, teamkill mesage on the screen, but no negative points.

Most annoying thing for me in FH2 online;

People who do not give rides when there is space in their vehicle and you obviously want to get in.
People who teamkill for tanks/any other vehicle.

The mod is great, just some players are assholes :p

your shaders are screwing up. You must have had a faulty install or a CTD during the time shader files were being moved around. Just delete Battlefield 2 folder in your 'documents' folder (Vista, 7) or 'my documents' folder (XP), restart your game and it should be fine.


Actually haven't had many annoyances recently - was on 256 server (I usually consider HSLAN a more team-play oriented and cohesive server) and it was actually a good game - That said, I had at least 2 instances where I tossed a nade into a bunker at Point du Hoc and had a teammate who was now coming up, run right in after it. It took too long to type 'grenade' so I just let em have it in the face.

Then had other situations where some enemy threw a nade at the flag we were capping and only I saw him do it. All my teammates killed and we lost that flag - because I couldn't warn them.
