Company of Heroes Online
« on: 28-08-2010, 17:08:58 »
I read about this one in a PC magazine and states it was free-2-play, no monthly fees or any type of bullsith. Plays like the original game except it's pure Multiplayer. Co-op = I hope, still if it isn't in I'm gonna go for it.
Loved the original.

The guy giving that video drove me crazy!

"So here you can join either the Americans or the Werrrmackt ... I guess that's the Germans..."

And basically all I got from that video is the game is essentially CoH for Free. Which is great if you like CoH.

Well yes but for me the new 'mmo functions' were very unclear. That video pretty much explains that all.

No, they said the only Campaign for now is gonna be the first, original, without the expansions. I'm gonna go for it, already signed up and now am gonna wait for further news. The MMO components are such that you create your character/commander and then level it, skills used for special functions, units, off-map support etc.

It doesn't look like anything from the expansions are in, as in the video the only two choices for armies were Wehr and USA.

I'm happy about that for two reasons, for one I also got the games when they came out originally, and moreover I always thought the multiplayer was best in the original CoH.

by the look of that video, there's nothing MMO about it.. it's just a free RTS game with focus on online gameplay and character progression. :\

I want Sole Survivor MMORTS game :(

Just saw this on Reddit: Company of Heroes Online lead game designer killed saving his wife and unborn baby

http://www.theprovince.com/news/final+only+thing+that+would+save/3487150/story.html

A brave and selfless thing to do, to save his wife an unborn child, he turned the car round so the SUV would only hit him straight on.

As for the occupants, the driver was taking her jumper off and had the passenger next to her steering.
Fuck throwing the book at them, more like the whole prison.

That's unbelieveable... Taking your sweater off while driving? No seatbelts? They should lock him up indeed... Dipshit

Eventhough i was kinda anti this game for sentimental reasons, I am sad too that such a talented guy passed away like that.
