Forgotten Hope has never been designed by an angry mob. The devs have been making their mod since 2003... and during those years they have not been able to please everyone. That would be impossible.

Why to have a suggestion forum then... Well, I don't know. Most of the suggestions are either impossible, not supported by the devs or just plain silly. But from time to time something usable and new surfaces and the devs take interest.

By all means, keep suggesting. But don't throw a hissy fit if the people who are here creating their own mod don't agree.

bingo. Its their SOVEREIGN property. The suggestion forum is to get external feedback, additions and alternatives that they might CONSIDER. They barely take suggestions not beccause its their perogative to do so, but because after consideration, it may not be the time for it, may not fit into the gameplay, or its already in the works...

But they do consider them, even the most silly ones... At least they read them, and put brain energy into them. If you ever see a dev give feedback to a suggestion - And I can bet you'd get at least one of such in each suggestion, then that means its at least been noted

Now, while we ponder of the additions that may well have been as a result of community suggestions, can we keep the devs motivated to DO what they've decided to do out of the goodness of their own heart? Without imposing or accusing them?

its simply knowing what to suggest.  For example, most stuff i suggested, actually made it in this mod

it could be that the mods already knew about this when i suggested this, or they took my suggestion, i dont know. and really dont care.

Must we really? Do we really need to diminish the list to justify the fact the devs are in fact, sadistic monsters who torture us with freewill and rip our choice in our face?

Besides, the list was created based on things that came in AFTER heated discussion on them, and many are probably in part, as a result since they really don't HAVE to be in, if you take a look at them and see what I mean.

Another solution on top of the server rule would be to increase the respawn time of the recon cars, like higher than a tiger or something (> 3 min) ... Good against kübelschreck squads and back cappers as well ...

I'd be more open to this, except, that wouldn't make it more realistic either since there were way more jeeps than tigers and they should be more readily available. Honestly, as pointed out before...a.) it could be implemented as it would be realistic but b.) because the devs don't want to, it wont be.

You can tell most the devs are from Europe...

They might have been more readily available, but I'm quite sure they were not used in direct battles apart from recon roles. As fh2 portrays the battle, I'd like the regular jeeps to be replaced with appropriate recon vehicles, that have some firepower, as I said before.

I prefer my solution, create a CTD bug for the guys who try to shoot from the jeep or the kebel with bazooka or panzershrek

So if i accidentaly forget and press the mouse button, or i try to throw smoke i get my slot in the server and my friday night ruined...No thanks in this case i'd rather not be able to shoot at all.
