Bug Reporting / Re: Weird bug, can't move my mouse.

Yes, I reset them in every tab

I ended up just deleting the controls config file and repairing FH2 - which has seemed to fix it, so I'm happy

I just can't ALT+TAB anymore :( when I go back to the game, the HUD disappears and I can't re-enable it (even with the console command) - but that isn't for here, I'll search around a bit and if I can't find anything I'll start a new thread

Am having the same problem as yourself

Have tried resetting my controls and still no luck - I've had a look at other threads about the mouse not functioning in game and the solution for most (if not all besdies myself) is resetting the controls to default

Are there any other steps that might help?

I guess that's what I will do until a new version/plugin is up :)

The latest version of TS3 and volume control plugin do not seem to work with BF2/FH2 (3.0.8.1 TS and volume control v1.3 ASI1.8)

It is not limited to just BF2/FH2 - Age of Empires 3 and Far Cry 2 are the same

Previous versions were nice with 70% volume reduction, but now there is none

Anyone else having this problem?

Would love a solution as not being able to hear anything when in a tank/heavy combat is a pain for organised battles

Cheers!

Repair and Transport points are two that could be changed and increased

Giving/receiving bandages is something that is seen mainly in campaigns and organised battles.  Squad leaders should be more encouraged for this also

Try sleeping in Breezehome - she will sit on the chair at the foot of your bed...

...EVERY NIGHT

Also she says "hey look, a cave! I wonder what's inside?" when you EXIT the cave

Also she sets off traps, which is funny :)

ROCCAT Kave Real 5.1 is nice

Around ~$100US and each earphone has 3 speakers

http://www.roccat.org/Products/Gaming-Sound/ROCCAT-Kave-5-1/

It's heavy but you get used to it

The sound quality is insane and it has a way to switch between movie and game mode, as movies (and music) sound a bit off with the true 5.1

Ya, I meant greyhound haha - the Puma is also pretty damn effective

But given the dominance of the Axis armour, using at as a would-be-mobile AT weapon isn't as much of a pressing issue as it is with the M8

Yeah the Panther, Tiger and King Tiger are basically the only tank the Puma can't deal with

Have seen the Puma absolutely blitz the Axis on our oceana campaign - in the BotB maps

So much forest for it zip through and its speed basically ensured that it was never out of the combat zone for too long.  Watching it zip around all the axis tanks was crazy to watch and allowed the allied shermans to get that much-needed first shot (and often second shot) before the Axis knew what was happening

IIRC the main issue is that in order to play the reload animation properly, you need to have the gun drop, you cannot work the bolt with the sights up.  The reason is because if they did have reloading whilst in sights, you would not be able to stop the animation and run or such, destroying fluidity ingame.  The devteam has been over this before, and the conclusion is the same, the fluidity is more necessary than reloading whilst aiming.

That said, they could probably up the reload speed on the SMLE a bit more, even out of iron sights, but it currently is faster than all the other actions ingame.  This is especially evident if you hip fire.  Either way though, when taking aimed shots at moving targets, no rifle, not even the M1 Garand, provides much advantages in reload speed for each individual shot.  It will be generally slow simply due to having to sight back in after each shot, generally on a target that has continued to maneuver, changing range, speed, and cover.

If you want to create the illusion of faster shooting with a bolt action, just mash sprint in between shots :)

Tank-bailers are often pretty annoying

Especially when you're plonked in an AT gun and you see the tank is on fire, but just before you fire the kill-shot, the guy bails.  Unless you manage to load HE and get him some other way, it doesn't count for much other than a destroyed tank, which - don't get me wrong - is still great

But it can be frustrating at times - I don't mind if they bail to go and repair their tank, as I have seen this quite often and have destroyed the tank anyway and the explosion of the tank kills them - at least that is somewhat honourable

I'll admit I have bailed on occasion - mostly to repair or try and kill the guy that shot me (in the case of CQB - especially when it is a Shrek/Zook/Piat and I know the guy only has a pistol while have a rifle mutha****)

haha I only went with what I though, in my ignorance of what i think colour-normal people can see :D

I guess being colour-blind I like to minoritise myself and perpetuate the us vs them situation where we are always left out (it took how long for BC2 and BF3 to get colour-blind options?) - so many teamkills haha

Back on topic, can we make the no-go zones on maps clearer? Surely that would be easier than changing the minimap icons?

The faint, opaque red looks sh*t and I can't see it on some of the greener maps - can be a killer if there is only a 3 second timer on the leaving the battle, desserters will shot etc.
