Is this an other incident of such a report or the same one of which pictures has been going around the net for years? =p
If you'de price one item lower then the other pure on appareance alone, be it skin colour or clothing (say a pink vs a green shirt, otherwise identical) then it might be wrong. Might, as at some point you may wish to get rid of the old stock and sell it at a discount. If the black/white/purple/green skin/dress/whatever coloured version sold less good you may have a larger stock of them left that you need to get rid off.
So if anything you could "blame" the consumers, but even that would be silly, their preferance of one over the other would most likely be die to being able to identify with one more then the other. If you're some asian kid who likes orange cloths, you may prefer an asian doll in orange cloths... sounds fair enough not?
It would be wrong only if the shop or factory advertised two new, identical products at different prices for no good reason at all and/or because they openly state they find one product inferior in it's looks over the other... but err... I don't think such a shop or factory does excist... well maybe in some back alley of some slum full of discriminating scum, which wold account for... hmm handful of peopel world wide? =p
