I was wondering how the british dude got an M1 Garand.

He's Canadian (the guy with the Bren) :P
Btw, did Canadians use Garands, Lee-Enfields or both?

I think they only used Enfields. I've never seen a Canadian with a Garand.

Everyone!
I just moved up from paint!
Yaay for me.
I'll tweak it a little later, need to choose a better background color for these forums.

Haha, after all it was quite obvious but still it made me giggle  :)

I think they only used Enfields. I've never seen a Canadian with a Garand.
Canadian had US weapons if they were with the 1st special force: the devils brigade, but the regular army used lee enfield.

I'm having a hard time finding nice photos of P-51Ds in flight, preferably in combat/performing aerial maneuvers and also in black and white.  I have an idea for a sig, but damn it if I can't find the right picture...  I was also looking for Spitfire pictures like that too, but nothing I find can be used for what I'm thinking...  The pictures have to be able to be smashed into our itty-bitty sig space as well...

Damnit.  Isn't there some kind of wartime photo archive somewhere?  Preferably an easier to search, categorized one...

Well I found a nice P-51 picture, and after some finagling around with GIMP, came up with my current sig.  I don't have the artsy-fartsy touch, but I like the way it turned out.  Nice and simple.

Re-used sig and avatar from old forums for identification, especially since I slightly changed my username. Nice, this new chance to pick the name you like best.

I always liked your sig, Slayer.  But the max dimensions here is 600x80 pixels.  Yours is 250x150.

I took the liberty of resizing it.  Unfortunately, it seems to have lost something in the transition...

Also, sorry for sounding like a pompous ass.   It's not my fault, I don't mean to, and I don't know how to correct something without sounding like a jackass.  Sorry.

I noticed the restrictions while reading the forums bit by bit. Thanks for helping me out. As you might notice, I was making a new sig in the meantime. I'm not really great with images, so this is the best I could do: even more Typhoons, yay!

Haha Typhoon spam  ;D
Looks nice Slayer  :) Really colourfull. Though resizing has pixelated the Typhoons a bit. Maybe cut off the top or bottom so it looks better when resized. Not cut of all ofcourse just a little piece thats not important.
