Hi guys. I've implemented the smoke screen, working for AI bots.

If the FH2 modders will be interested, I can give them the tweak.
This is amazing, you should post on PR forum as well, it will be a great game-changing element for both mods in coop mode.

I mean by editing file to make the mg42 hipfire in singleplayer
I don't think they're going to make them hip fire (imagine the splash you'd have to contend with Rambo-ing with an MG42), but they're definitely still there to play with in SP.

I was JUST playing Tunis on SP and the MG42 pickups are still there and working.  You can grab and use them, you just need to lie down for them to work.

How about increase recoil and reduce accuracy? Just like PR's machinegun.
Our testing back then showed that one could use, eg, the MG42 in iron sights while standing and make very accurate kills on long ranges. The slow movement speed in iron sight mode was enough to evade a few bullets, yet it did not cause any aiming inaccuracy. That means the first bullet of a burst would always be a hit, even on long ranges. So you had more slowly advancing upright walking MG42 snipers ingame than you had them defending in unexpected positions, which sucked more than it was nice.

Ummmm, but it looks wired isn't it? I guess it should use "BAR" or "Bern"'s way to hip fire.
Jan, you CAN hip fire Breda 30 in singleplayer. IIRC, hip-firing was added in 2.46 as an experimental solution for bots freezing with the "prone-only" MGs, with the Breda 30 as a guinea pig.
