I've also seen on the tv the story of a wallon who couldn't buy a house in flemish part because he wasn't flemish some other funny story like the flemish who want to ban french from brussel while this city is supposed to be the capital of europe.

Yes and no, the party will only go that far as an absolute last resort. There main point for the last elections was doing what was in the constitution, something the French speaking part does not want for some strange reason. (they would all loose votes meaning less money)
He can buy a house if he wants to, but our policy is that if you want to buy property here you have to follow classes to learn our language. That's right, if you want to live here you have to learn Dutch, but that is to much to ask unfortunately for some, some would rather have it that all Flemish people speak there language instead. This in a lot of walloon people. They blatently refuse to learn Dutch when they live in Flanders, well, We kick them out if they do that. Sounds fair to me. Also, if you have family or are born in the town you want to buy property in you get first in line automaticly, it's a way to stop local people from being pushed out of there towns (like the invasion of rich dutch people taking over Limburg) by rich people that buy all the property.
And we don't want to ban French in Brussels, we want it to be like it is seposed to be according to our constitution. It is a town where everybody should learn Dutch AND French and if you want to work there you have to know BOTH languages, unfortunately its 90% French. I have had situations where the lady in the trainstation of Brussels south was selling international traintickets and could speak French and very bad English, no Dutch at all. Or when you go to a restaurant it's very often ONLY fresh service. All we want is that they at least do an effort to speak dutch aswell. Or English for all we care. Just something more then just French.
And let us not forget the looks you get when you speak dutch, it's like they want to stare you out of the building.
