New episode is out: No Vargo Hoath, no Lem and Rickon and Osha still walk around with Bran. The Brave Companions are also not included, it seems and the duel between Jaime and Brienne wasn´t as good as in the book. Tulisa who replaced Jeyne Westerling is also getting terribly annoying. I just don´t understand why they had to put her in, instead of staying true to the books.
Atleast the actors playing the Reeds are quite good and we didn´t have to see more of Daenerys "Thunderthighs" Targaryen and her mad schemes...

But I´m seriously getting worried about all the diversions from the books. I had high hopes for this season and so far I feel quite disappointed since the script writers seem to think they have to change everything GRRM has created, even for absolutely silly reasons. The quality of the show is quite good, but I just can´t stand it when TV/movie adaptions of books deviate too much from the original source. It feels like the scriptwriters destroy what an author has created before them.
And so he spoke, and so he spoke, that lord of Castamere,
But now the rains weep o'er his hall, with no one there to hear.
Yes now the rains weep o'er his hall,
and not a soul to hear.

Great interview with GoT's Peter Dinklage. Either the man is proper stoned or he's just one of the coolest guys ever. Who knows, maybe both. ;)

(Interview has no spoilers, btw)

Good episode indeed.

There are just few things that don't make any sense whatsoever. Mostly the inclusion of Jeyne Westerling... Replacing her with.. whatever her name is seems just really clumsy and plain weird.

The thing is, some changes might seem small now, but in the future they have to change a whole lot more, or just retcon it to make any sense.

After reading some theories regarding the TV show I think I know what they will pull with Talisa, I'd say just wait.

That was a beautiful episode. I looked forward to that moment at the end for so long. His arc has just begun.

People are complaining about the music choice at the end, but to me it fit beautifully, simply because it was as scarring and bizarre as the scene preceding it.

I think it fits as well, and it's a good song.

And that slaver has a special place in my heart. I'll give her ten more because I like the curve of her ass.

- Poor slave master, still oblivious to Daenerys speaking High Valyrian.

- One of the best scenes in all of the books will be in the next episode ;D

- Who the hell is trying to help Theon escape? The Bastard's henchman arranging a hunt for his master? The Bastard himself? A real Ironborn?

- This is way better rendition of the song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t6VMSYIXCCY
