The landings at Torch, those weren't that action packed, right? Far from the D-Day scenes. From pictures it seems they more walk ashore then charge the enemy.

I think the battles that where part of Torch should be portrayed at a later time. Like Kasserine Pass and maybe El Guettar.

Well there aint that much photo's of D-Day with troops storming out of the landing boats, maybe 4 or 5 real first wave pictures. But your are probably right, it wasnt that action packed as D-Day but still... Anyways if Torch is too big for one map Azreal, you could split it up into 3 different landing beaches. Wasn't the 82nd Airborne fighting in North-Africa as well?

82nd? I believe they only got dropped in Sicily/Italy. Not sure though.

(we all know what they did in Western-Europe, only talking about North-Africa and the med)

Im going to be working on a small map based around a small part of just one of the areas where combat took place at Cassino in 1944. It'll feature tanks, a river crossing, and even a small village. Crossing The River Rapido.

sounds nice. Do you think it could possibly be integrated into one of the next patches?
