Open Bundlemeshes/Skinnedmeshes
« on: 09-04-2010, 10:04:38 »
Hi guys,

lately i tried to open some of your tank and playermodels with 3dsmax to get a clue of how the professionals organise their models. Now you've got bundlemeshes and skinnedmeshes, but i can't open them. My question is if this is intended so not every prick can play around with the devs work, what i'd completly understand, or do i just need some plugins oder something? Just for the record i really don't intend to screw around with it i am just curious.

EDIT: and what the hell?:D

"Guidelines for future kits (note that there are some exceptions currently):

1st: Nation
-----------
A - Australia
B - Britain
C - Canada
F - France
G - Germany
I - Italy
J - Japan
P - Poland
R - Russia
U - USA
Z - Zanytown" ???

You have to have the BF2 Toolset to open exported files that are in BF2. However, you won't get much help from most of us when it comes to doing this.. Not because we are pricks, but because everytime we help someone do this sort of thing.. We end up seeing our stuff appear in other mods, just slightly altered.

All I can say is do some searching around. The information is out there.
