Man just tell me, you embraced for one second what it might be like to fuck a 12ft tall smurfette?  I must rid myself of this sin, but I need to know I am not alone.
Imagining not necessary, this is the internet.  Rule 34 applies, just get out there and find it.

You've got to come at avatar from a film perspective. The man has put so much of his life into this project, he waited to make it because he thought the computers 5 years ago couldn't do what he wanted them to. You also have to watch it for the sheer effort, how they did motion capture for it 3 years ago! James cameron is an ass of a guy, he makes people do so much for his movies, but that's why you watch them. Let's take the movie The Abyss, also by James Cameron. As a movie, it's alright, not great not awful. But the fact that in order to film it, James Cameron made the actors stay underwater for 12 hours a day to film it and they got so sick from it they said theyd never work with the man ever again. This is why you watch Avatar, for the sheer weight behind it. At least if you are a studier of film.....

Enemy at the Gates

Hollywood and the battle of Stalingrad. Not the best combination, still entertaining. Jude Law as the protagonist sniper of the Soviet Army. Who becomes an icon and role model for the Soviet people thanks to the propaganda papers.

A good reason for the Wehrmacht to send in their top man. Played by no less then Badass Harris (his real name).

As I said, Hollywood and the battle of Stalingrad. Not less, not more.

All based on a real story, the endings abit different to how it played out in reality though :P

Passchendaele

I'm really confused by this film. Not that its a complicated story line or anything, I just couldn't decide if I love it or Hate it :(

I think the "action scenes" with their cat and mouse theme are quite unique in modern war movies and very entertaining.

Maverick 7.5/10

A fun, light hearted western with a great twist at the end. Not a great movie, but an entertaining one that will keep you smiling all the way through it.

Moon 8.5/10

Intense, good, entertaining. I wish they had focused more on the psychological aspect of it, but hey, you get what you get. Saw it with my parents, so I had to mark it up by 0.5 cause they invariably make the experience worse, and it'll be better for you guys. (for instance, asking me to explain things that were obvious plot mysteries, and then both of them staring at me questioningly for ten seconds when I didn't tell them the ending to a movie I had never seen before.)

The Hurt Locker 9/10

Extremely intense, though once again, I had to mark it up 0.5 because of my parents (characters explain why they are alone, 10 seconds later mom asks why nobody else is there with them, then proceeds to have conversation with dog)

I don't know what rawhide was smoking, I thought it was a great movie. Very refreshing to see a character based war movie, as opposed to plot based (or a character based movie in general).
Twilight - the movie is just like Schindler's list... You know you're watching a crime against humanity, but it's sort of entertaining.~~Ts4EVER

I'd give it a 8/10 as well. At least they stayed true ti Sherlock and his habits. (Big fan of the books here)
And a part 2 vs Prof. Moriaty just has to come! I love Robert Downey jr. (Ionman FTW) :D

One of my favourite poker movies. A tad old, but very entertaining. :)

Moon is an interesting movie and very depressing if you think about the main character's outset. I'd give it 8/10 as well.

Team America - World Police
Has got to be the best satire I have ever seen. Matt Stone and Trey Park are just geniouses, such intelligent and well-thought satire (often disguised in not-so-sophisticated vocabulary). I love everything with this movie, from the great songs "America - Fuck Yeah!" and "What would you do?", to the sex scene, to Kim Jong Il.

The movie is made with so much humour, something as simple as the fact that the strings connected to the characters are clearly visible, as well as the focus on america (All places are described as "X miles from America". And it's pretty awesome when Kims "panthers" are sent in = 2 adorable pussycats.

I could ramble great bits from the movie for hours, so I will stop here.

Incredible satire, great humour.

10/10      (possible 9/10, could maybe have been a teeny bit longer)

Oh, Ted. We do share many interests, TAWP is one of my favorite comedies, it's one of those movie I at least see one time per year.

Anyhow!

The thing called love
- Saw Stand by me as you might recall a few weeks ago and got recommended to see another film starring River Phoenix. When I saw that this movie was also directed by Peter Bogdanovic I could not resist.

It's about two pairs of young folks in Nashville, trying to make it into country music. Pretty sweet and soft, typical flick chick. But still OK. Nothing special.

The Wolf Man.

It is a great attempt to bring those ol' good days of black and white movies of monsters; the movie from start to end was awesome as hell. Good effects, plenty of wolf ripping man and woman to shreads, of course expected ending and a nice twist at the end. I highly recommend it.

But it gets short in one thing; I dont know why, but for me the most badass werewolf in existence its the one in Van Helsing in the final battle between himself and Dracula, he looks mean and he is a walking nuclear weapon and its the kind of look I like in a werewolf; more wolf than man and actually a lot more bigger so I like that version more.

Still it is a great movie.
