Unfortunately, in the coming books/seasons, she´s becoming even more entitled and megalomaniac. I guess, that´s what happens, when you´re a teenager princess/queen who suddenly has access to alot of power and responsibility at the same time, while coming from an old inbred family whose ancestors state of mind ranged from simply batshit crazy to really good. But yeah, TV-series Dany is way more crazy than book-Dany at this stage.

Yeah I'm not really sure what HBO is doing with Dany. In the books she gets shit done and usually treats even her enemies in fair way. 'Fair' as being closer to Stark way than, dare I say, Bolton way.

And she is most definitely not "tainted" like Viserys, Aerys II and Maegor I. She is more like Rhaegar or Aegon V.

Rhaegar would have been a great king. :/

Edit: And speaking of Boltons, I wonder if we see Ramsay Snow in the next episode. I'm sure he'll be a well loved character.

*spoilers*

I'm pretty sure the Robb scenes are so the unbooked viewers remember who he is, what hes doing, and understand his innocent romance that develops and causes him to choose love over duty and precipitate other events.

Would I have put those scenes in? No I'd have given the time to Tyrion's chain or something. But I understand it's cheaper and lends more clarity to show more Robb.

As for Dany, I'm a little surprised at the direction they went with her character too. I really liked reading her chapters in the books, especially when certain well-trained soldiers come into play. It seems like it wouldnt be hard to make her act like she did in the books, so HBO must have some reason, maybe to show her inner turmoil?

If you don´t mind eventual spoilers and like to know (or maybe refresh your knowledge of) the history of GRRMs world, check out this Youtube-channel. The owner has uploaded the "Complete Guide to Westeros" and the short clips tell the story of the ASOIAF world from the very beginning.
The animations are really, really nice and if you didn´t read the books yet give you a nice insight into the vast and rich lore.

Rhaegar would have been a great king. :/

If even Jaime thinks so, it sure must be true.  :)

Awesome, can barely wait. All the epic guys are in for the next episode. Not to mention the massive battle :)

Also became a true follower of House Mormont, I just love that family. Honest, noble, a bit crazy at times, smart and innovative. And no weird things like incest, claiming the throne or anything. Just a fucked up father and son relationship though.

Uhm... Ser Jorah ran away instead of facing Eddard Stark's justice when he was caught selling slaves. He caught a few poachers and tried to sell them to get money to buy his wife jewellery. How in the seven hells is that noble and honourable?

I don't mind talking and slow bits per se, but I think the second season has too much talking, which states obvious things or tries to expand minor characters while we have 25 characters in 'Main cast' section for the season. Take last episode for example:
- Daenerys' "I don't leave my dragons" is quite predictable.
- Tyrion's "I love this game" chat with Varys, as if it wasn't clear before. Joffrey's overconfidence is not surprising too.
- The Onion Knight story doesn't add much. Overall, whole Stannis Baratheon plot line looks somewhat secondary, only as annoyance for King's Landing.
- Last but not least - "the longest intro to sex" as Gezoes called it. IMHO Robb's love story feels bogged and cliched, an attempt to attract female audience.

As a result, I have a feeling that one third (one half?) of 50 minutes is wasted.

Are you kidding? How else were we to know that there is a 16 titted God on the Summer Island. That is useful information, my friend.
This episode had me laughing , especially Bronn. His expression is cracking me up.

Milton Gault roared, "Roffey, I know bloody well that Jerry knows we are here but you don't need to advertise the fact!"

I never said honourable, re-read. And I know what happened, but he chose living over dying (like Tyrion) and thus he is smart. And the whole thing with his former wife is something I put in the category 'a bit crazy sometimes'. As is his obsession with Dany.

Though can not deny the awesomeness of House Mormont, the Bears of Westeros!

Maege Mormont is great. Don't know about the others... I guess Jeor is a good Lord Commander.

The playlist of the Season 2 soundtrack has been released, with some spoilers. Seems season 2 will end with the prologue of A Storm of Swords. To be honest, I wondered why A Clash of Kings didn't end with this when I read it.

And there are some other cool things on the soundtrack, like The Rains of Castamere.

That's something we will hear quite a lot during next series... ;)

This is still better version, in my opinion:
