Ahh. A lot of souveniers or are you not allowed to take them?

In first trip - only case from 75-mm field gun. But second trip soon ;)

Woah, why is that stuff just laying around there? Abandoned ammo depot? Or did you guys dig it up? Don't expect that because it looks like it's laying upper earth for some time.

No fear of Depleted uranium, Taranov?

After a long time, saying I'll post a picture, finally here it is.

Me after a long night of too much alcohol

As you almost can see, a bit of my tooth is missing here...

I've posted this before on FileFront. Army themed, but on FH forums, why not. It looks as if I'm not amused

Ah, military photos. I´ve got one. Here, my "most favourite" (*ahem*) piece of equipment in my closet:

Nice to wear with 25 kilos of gear and the ABC poncho. It´s especially comfortable to breathe with...not. I hate that dated piece of crap, the mask doesn´t even have a hose where you can attach your water bottle. Atleast the helmet is cool.
And so he spoke, and so he spoke, that lord of Castamere,
But now the rains weep o'er his hall, with no one there to hear.
Yes now the rains weep o'er his hall,
and not a soul to hear.

Poor Homer, as Panzergrenadier I at least had the Nozzle for the Waterbottle, but hey it's the joys of serving in the army afterall! :)

My brother has the new gas mask, too. Also we only have the old backpack, you know, the brown one where you can´t get your shit in properly. Yes, ABC alert is great. We had the 20km Gefechtsmarsch last week and walked some time under "full" ABC protection (I guess the ABC equipment is useless in a real ABC situation, but the drill sergeants need something to torture us :D)

Sure thing, after some Km in those old things you say to yourself: "Ok if there is ever a real situation and I'm stuck with this gear, I'd rather not go through the pain of using this shit and die slowly. I'll rip it off and take a deep last breath." ... at least that was my opinion after marching with the gear. ^^
