XWW2 Attachable Vehicles System

So I just downloaded XWW2 mod, and something attracted my attention, they made a system like in BF1942, you could detach landing craft from a ship. I suppose this could come in handy so I took some screenshots:

Step 1: So there is the ship, note the landing crafts on its sides:

Step 2: When you get out of the ship and walk on the deck, you move up to the landing craft, and jump on it. Then press E, and you're ready to move:


Step 3: When you and you're  teammates are finally inside, you can press "W" and the landing craft will detach:


Also there are ladders on the deck of the ship and climbable ropes on sides to load soldiers into landing crafts:

At the FH2 tournament on the WaW map Kefalonia such destroyers were avaiable, deploying landing crafts just like in your pictures. That was nice, but I don't seee why this would be interesting for regular FH2 as no naval warfare is planned.

Furthermore, I guess the Pak gun that jumps from the back of trucks on some maps as soon as you enter it and press W should work with this system already.

I know naval warfare most likely wont be in FH2, but something other than that that uses this kind of system might be possible. Maybe Zveno Project for Eastern Front?

Dunno, never played it before. But I'm sure one made by FH2 developers would be awesome!

Its just that you are posting things that have been discussed to death.

Its like a cliche. Once upon a time, it was pearls of wisdom, and we all said WOW! great idea, and we discussed it, and discussed it.
But we managed to puncture enough holes in the argument to decide it couldn't be done,

Well, if it works so good, then maybe it IS worth considering.
Let's retrace our steps...

What are pros and what are the cons.
How doable is this? Cuz last I heard, terrain causes towed vehicles to blow up, and if I recall correctly, towed ATs were actually tried just before 2.45 and it had a lot of work to do.

Perhaps rather than toss it out as 'a bad idea'

Let's actually reiterate what is possible with it, and what isn't so everyone is on the same page.
We seem to be simply shutting Turkish's ideas without any proper explanation.

Perhaps we might even see something worthwhile by outlining pros and cons.
