Problem remains that FH2 "ceiling" is awfully low, FW190 did OMG RAEP (almost) everything down at the deck, and with BF2 engine flight physics (and the aforementioned ceiling) climb rate or speed matters very little.
At low altitude (<1500 m) agility should be something like FW190 > P-47 > P-51 > Bf 109G, climb rates P-51 > Bf 109G > FW190 > P-47, speeds FW190 > P-51 > Bf 109G > P-47. However, at 3-5 km FW190 rapidly loses its power and agility (Bf 109G less so), while Jug and Mustang gain a decisive advantage. At > 8 km P-47 will simply wtfpwn everything with P-51 close second (soapbox mode again, P-51's success was due to its longer range, better fuel economy, cheaper building cost, simplicity of construction, and easier maintenance; not performance at altitude, agility at altitude, armour or firepower).
Haven't flown much, did 2.3 correct the feeble damage from Jug's 8 Ma Deuces (treated as 2 before)? At least the gun convergence still seems to be adjusted for bomber interception instead of dogfighting.
Including Me 262 in the mix could be interesting: faster than anything, but needs half a map to turn around and if it's caught in a "low energy state" it will be very soon very dead. Too bad the 262's were not part of the Legend of Y-29 (only used to attac Gilze-Rijen with marginal results).
