I agree with you, the last ten minutes were really, really good. It was one of the first times Daenerys wasn´t annyoing. Too bad she´s gonna mess up everything else in the future...

Otherwise, the episode was...alright, I guess. I know, i sound like a broken record, but some of the deviations from the books still bother me deeply, but I guess I´ll just have to get used to it. If it´ll become too much I can still revel in the books and enjoy GRRMs writing without a bunch of screenplay writers messing up his works. Hopefully....

Because Astapor and Meereen were Danys big successes, right? Getting entangled in the petty rivalries of the Mereeneese royalty, trying to set everything right for everyone, messing around with Daario and being a do-gooder were costly and pretty bad for her cause. Only in the end of "Dance" did she even manage to control Drogon, so right now it looks pretty grim to her. Now please tell me where she actually didn´t mess up and managed to do something to help her cause.[size]

'Sadist' would be quite mild term when describing the Bastard.

And on an unrelated note; I hope that they have filmed the stories that Jojen and Bran share during the journey. Night's King, Rat Cook etc.

I doubt it. Fitting A Storm of Swords in 10 hours really requires you remove everything that isn't completely essential. Especially if you feel the need to keep including characters that aren't in the book, like Theon.
