I would really like a map with Walter Wenck and his newly formed 12th Army's attempt to regroup with the 9th Army in the Halbe Pocket, the last German offensive of the war, which enabled 250,000 civilians and 25,000 men of the 9th Army to surrender to the Americans.

The Battle of Narva - (February to July 1944)

The Battle of Narva was a military campaign between the German Army Detachment "Narwa" and the Soviet Leningrad Front fought for possession of the strategically important Narva Isthmus on 2 February – 10 August 1944 during World War II.

The campaign took place in the northern section of the Eastern Front and consisted of two major phases: the Battle for Narva Bridgehead (February to July 1944) and the Battle of Tannenberg Line (July–August 1944).

Location: The battle takes place in Estonia between the Gulf Of Finland and Lake Peipus

This video shows the Germans launching Barrage ballons with an observer in a basket over Narva.
Would be cool if you guys could recreate that.

It also shows mobile flak gun on tracks.

I chose this battle because its Winter 1944, well documented but never re-created.

Can you create a frozen lake?

First idea:
In 1944 Armygroup Center got attacked in the Ukraine.  A battlefield near Barischewka:

The pronja area.

on the right were the german positions, to the left the russians

view from the russian side

the road that went trough the front line (russian side in the back)

view of the german backward positions in a small forest today

Both side were dug in in widespread trench systems with underground bunkers, several rows deep.
Would like to see a map like this, no villages or roads in the main fighting area but a nice mix of trees and bushes for cover to advance and a really long frontline to prevent chokepoints. Not too much tanks, but Infantry fights with maybe several flag points distributed along large trench systems, so that one side can´t take the other trenches too soon. Artillery, Mortars, Lafette (Maxim) and Pak should be present.
Maybe dawn or dusk, not much attacks were made during broad daylight.

Will add some maps and photos of the trenches from the book by Hartmann tomorrow.

Battle of Kursk

Goliath
[/color]

Karl-Gerät

and some stuff that i know will never be add but...... lol

Rumor has it, this massive war-machine, dubbed the "Siege Bot" in Western intelligence circles, was built by the Iraqi regime under Saddam Hussein. The huge gun tube launched rocket-assisted howitzer rounds, and was intended to crack Iranian fortifications during the Iran-Iraq war of the 1980s. The Siege Bot vanished soon after the first Gulf War, having never fired on Allied troops. The United States denies having it…..lol jking

It is reminiscent of the German assault gun ‘Panzermörser Sturmtiger’ of 1944...

Proposed in early August of 1943 as the Germans were once again mounting an increasingly desperate summer offensive against the Soviets, the Sturm Tiger was championed by Panzer Leader Heinz Guderian. He clearly saw the limitations of even heavy tanks when it came to urban fighting and wanted a weapon that could roll in to support the infantry and route the enemy from the toughest positions. The armament was derived from a secret project of the Navy to develop a means for submarines to bombard shore positions. The Kriegsmarine abandoned this project but it proved perfectly suited for the Sturm Tiger and was adopted with modifications. Unfortunately for the Germans, by the time the first of only 18 Sturm Tigers had rolled out of the Alkett plant in Berlin-Spandau a slow-moving anti-bunker tank was of dubious value. Despite this the Sturm Tiger performed well, proving adequate at anti-tank and infantry engagements in defense of the rapidly collapsing Reich.

a close infantry map that takes place in a factory. With big open halls, with old stuff inside, some upper floor gangways. 2 halls, between an open area, with some tracks and burned out rail cars. With tunnel system with several floors, so you run into confusion and dont know where you are. Maybe 1-2 levels tunnel and one level canalistation with very narrow space and brown water till your knees. Only some flickering old lamps from time to time.
Something like a mix between Sidi Regez HQ + the tunnels of Tobruk. but that we also get into the height. Maybe adding an office sector. HrHr would be nice.

No tanks, no heavy mg, limited ammo, no nades for everyone (setting like Tunis)
ok i made a VERY (!!) basic map idea. I hope you see what I mean

Boring day at work, so I hereby represent the Battle for Velikiye Luki for FH2. Bastardized map provided by Wikipedia:

The scenario would represent Operation Totila, the final relief attempt, fought from 4.1.1943 until 16.1.1943.

In the beginning, the Germans hold the two cappable city flags (infantry spawn only) and the uncappable main base (tank and motorized infantry). The two "relief corridor" flags are set to neutral, and are recappable. The Soviets have four uncappable mixed-arms bases around the edges of the map. The Germans have the bleed as long until they cap the corridor flags, while simultaneously holding the corridor flags, at which point the Soviets will start to bleed. If the Soviets cap at least one of the city flags or recap one of the corridor flags, the bleed returns on the German side.

The river running through the city can only be crossed at bridges (set to OOB for infantry and too deep for tanks). No air support for either side, assume bad weather and snowing. Limited arty for the Soviets.

One interesting possibility would be to make the corridor flags unrecappable by the Soviets, so if the Germans manage to cap them, the Soviets must then assault the city in order to get rid of the bleed.

Even if we wouldn't get unpainted T-34's driving straight from the production lines to battle, I could heartily agree with this vision for the Dzerzhinsky Tractor Factory! :D

I want something that represents the shortage on ammo and weapons. For instance, a kit where you can choose that you either spawn with a rifle and no ammo, or without a rifle but with some ammo you can throw on the ground so the guy with the rifle can pick it up to shoot. (Like the ammo pouches in BF2)

The guy with the rifle would get points for killing, the dude with the ammo would get teamplay points if someone picks up the ammo. Then he would have to stick with the other dude till he gets killed and take his rifle to move on. Roles change and someone else steps in to provide ammo. Cycle goes on, you guys get it :)

THAT would be seriously amazing to have.

Sure corvax, but then on both sides

Like during one or so battles of stalingrad the soviets have less ammo

And during Operation Uranus, mars and such, the germans had much ammo shortages

Implementation of weapon-locked ammo boxes, so allow the handicapped side not be able to get ammo, while the stronger side can, unless an enemy weapon is picked up.

Also want to see, real Rattenkreig.. but then, that's kind of how Fh2 plays already, innit?
